Rodent outbreak reported in Sigma-15
FREEPORT 8 - Freeport 8 has reported a significant outbreak of rodents aboard the station, leading to significant spoilage in several of the four Biodomes. Local Zoners have reacted with fury to the outbreak, blaming a recent Rheinland Federal Police convoy that had been obtaining supplies for Mecklenburg Prison.
Unhappy Zoner dockmaster Nadine Drechsler commented, "there are airlock protocols and sanitation standards for a reason. Introducing an invasive species to a sterile station environment is completely unacceptable." Other Zoners have expressed despair at their new residents, with one anonymous Biodome worker decrying the vermin as 'unnatural'.
"The traps and bait we've put down don't seem to be working," he noted. "I saw one of the horrible little things eat the poison, wink at me, then scurry into a ventilation hatch as if nothing had happened." Some farmers have already resorted to extreme measures, with one hiring armed "Hispanic" bodyguards for his stockroom.
Autopsies on several specimens that were shot with Side Arms reveal they are most likely Rattus Leodensius, a breed commonly sighted in the trade corridor through the Omegas. It is currently unclear what led to the animals' introduction to the Sigmas.
The Rheinland Federal Police declined to comment when contacted, however an anonymous source aboard Mecklenburg declared, "they're coming out of the gott-damned walls! The infestation appeared from no-where several days ago."

These Rodents of unusual size are a growing danger, I recommend all station administrators transfer all cargo out of Rhineland in a depressurized cargo bay.
