Captain,
I assume this doesn't come as a surprise to you, as you're likely to expect what I am about to inform you of. With the separation of Task Force Akhetaten into Task Groups Akhetaten One and Two, and with the Akhetaten spearheading TGA One, that leaves the contingent that remains back at Liberty - TGA Two - without a flag ship and most importantly without a commanding officer.
As you can imagine, forfeiting one of the Akhetaten's ranking officers is completely out of question.
I am usually busy handling the bureaucratic side of things, and I can only imagine that my work will get even more intensive as the Akhetaten gets involved in more and more operations outside Liberty.
Commodore Edwards along with Captain Brown cover each other's shifts at commanding the Akhetaten in the field and as such both of them are mandatory for the proper and effective operation of the battlecruiser.
This means that someone outside the Akhetaten has to be the one who leads TGA Two.
Suffice it to say that I believe the most fitting individual for this job is you, Captain Chiavallati. You've shown only the best of conducts during the extended time you've spent within Task Force Akhetaten, and as one of the most long-standing members of it I fully trust you to upkeep the resolve and cunning I've observed in you while under my command, even when I am not present.
I shall await for your opinion on the above before I make anything official, but I trust that you will not reject this opportunity.

Vice Admiral.
You are correct, it does not come as much of a surprise. But, first of all, congratulations are in order: custom modus operandi is a boon and I am genuinely surprised Secretariat approved it so swiftly and without much more deliberation. But I suppose we should appreciate swift processing when it's due. Nevertheless, accept my sincere congratulations. Beating Liberty bureaucracy in such a swift and decisive motion is no small feat.
I appreciate you put trust in me once again and speak of me so highly. It goes without saying that I will take on the position with all due responsibility and make the most of it.
Let me know when must I move to this new position. Though I assume it is simply "at my earliest convenience".
I would have but one request: for the LNS Reprisal to be assigned to Task Force, Task Group Two.

Captain,
I am the one who should be congratulating you for making it to the position you did. It is arguably harder to earn my trust than earning the Government's trust, and you've done quite an exquisite work. Still, however, I appreciate the gesture of good will coming from you.
Consider yourself officially appointed as Task Group Akhetaten Two's commanding officer, as well as second-in-command of Task Force Akhetaten as a whole. Remember, Captain, with great power comes great responsibility. I am certain you will not let me down.
Your request regarding the LNS Reprisal has been completed.

Vice Admiral.
I can only assume something significant enough has occured in Galileo that we must prepare for an aggressive response from across the system. I'll see that TGA Two is combat ready and moves to forward positions.
Still, I would like a detailed briefing on the events that led to this predicament.
You will find a detailed briefing of the events that occurred in Galileo by Captain Samantha Brown, here.
Should any questions arise regarding the events that unfolded or Task Force Akhetaten's deployment in Colorado and Galileo, I will be at your disposal.
