Representatives of the Great House of Rheinland.

Our official contact in recent years could be described sparsely at best, though we have long returned to our good mutual economic relations following the Saigon Crisis many years ago.

We truly wish reaching out to you on this day would occur under different circumstances, but is my duty to inform you about ongoing developments. As you are surely aware of, the Empire of Kusari and the Republic of Liberty are entangled in ongoing legal disputes over exploitation rights for Platinum reserves found within the Galileo system.

These unresolved issues, alongside various long-term factors, led to a massive spike of tensions between us and House Liberty. Due to repeated breach of protocol by vessels belonging to the Liberty Navy, reaching up to the direct violation of trespassing into our sovereign territory with patrol wings and two officially confirmed skirmishes resulting due to Libertorian provocations, our nations are at the brink of open conflict.

House Kusari remembers the troubled past of House Rheinland with the Libertorians and whilst we in no way desire to drag your people into a conflict that is not theirs, we expect the Republic of Liberty to apply pressure on the other colonies in an attempt to weaken our position and bow to their pressure and expansionistic ambitions. Therefore, we wish to inform you preemptively that the Empire of Kusari holds no interests in escalating the situation with Liberty, but should the worst case scenario become inevitable, we expect them to attempt pursuading Rheinland through illegitimate means to cut economic ties with us.

I do not believe that the great representatives of House Rheinland need to be told about the distinct implications to the Sirian economy such a move would cause, especially in sight of the ongoing sector wide Gold crisis already straining everyone's economies.

If House Rheinland desires, we will establish communication ways to keep your governmental body in loop with all developments surrounding this crisis.
