Salutations, Task Force Commander, this is Agent Black. I'm an operative for Division Theta-9. We've accompanied you on a couple of your operations into both Galileo and Magellan flying both Dagger-1 and Dagger-2.
Headquarters has requested that we initiate a request to add an attaché to your task force for operations in Galileo. Not that your forces can't handle what is going on in our neighboring system, but more as additional forces should you need us. This attached Agent will double as an intelligence gathering operation to ensure intelligence gathered is fresh from our agents rather than going through stubborn channels littered with red tape.
If this is amenable to you, please let us know. We will keep this channel open for further correspondence in the future. Feel free to reach out to any of us should you need anything.

I'm Vice Admiral Maria Uhmen, flag officer of Task Force Akhetaten and a member of Forty-Sixth's Admiralty.
While I acknowledge that the LSF has it's own business to conduct and information to gather, I highly doubt that a fighter would offer a substantial enough boost to our local battlegroup to be made the matter of a transmission. Neither do you require my permission in order to work alongside Task Force Akhetaten assets in the field.
Regardless of what the ongoing operations are, the Liberty Security Force and the Liberty Navy operate under different mandates and different rules of engagement altogether. I don't believe your intelligence gathering operations have anything to do with our operations, neither do I believe that we can assist each other on that regard by having a channel such as this open.
Should you still wish to... unofficially operate under Task Force Akhetaten's flag, be it division-wide or with just a singular agent, you will be expected to follow orders, and it is widely known that the Liberty Security Force does not take kindly to following orders and that the agency only answers to the President.
I hope you can see how that does not add up.

I see.
We were simply being courteous to your operation, Vice Admiral, and wished to ensure we couldn't be "crashing your party". We know how LSF and Navy operations can often times conflict. We are acutely aware at how LSF operatives can sometimes cause friction between our Naval forces. Having an official comm. link between our respective parties seemed like the logical conclusion but mayhap I was mistaken.
...but you are right, we do not need your permission to accompany you into the field, I was simply being respectful to your command. Perhaps I was mistaken on this front as well.
In regards to your comment on how a singular "fighter" would not provide a substantial "boost" to your operations. You are right, however in the case of Galileo, we wouldn't necessarily only be providing one singular fighter craft.

...but message received, Vice Admiral. We only wished to extend a hand to aid our brethren in the armed forces. Should you need us, we will maintain this link between our respective parties...but based on your initial response, it would seem it is not necessary.

Do not let my words disappoint you. Should you have been debriefed in yesterday's events, you must by now be aware that war is unavoidable. The Navy, being the Navy, will be busy reinforcing our positions in LIBNORTHCOM and ensuring we've a tight stronghold along all possible entrances into the system before worrying about the safety of Galileo.
A group such as yours can be of significant value when it comes to operating behind enemy lines and gathering forward intelligence on their movements. Actions that would be much riskier for the Navy to undertake.
Your understanding of your usefulness is mistaken. I do not need an attaché to my task force in Galileo, or Colorado, Agent. What I need is for your forces to be deployed where their operational mandate requires them, be it with or away from Task Force Akhetaten. As you may know, I have pushed for, and received by the Secretary of Defense, unique rules of engagement for the Akhetaten and for specific assets of the task force. Should your group come across interesting findings in your missions, we might be able to launch a coordinated surgical strike against weak enemy formations behind their front lines, should any such instance be identified.
Your division's usefulness, Agent, is not to be questioned. But you must understand that aiding us in combat is not what you should be doing.
That channel may remain open for the aforementioned intelligence sharing between our organizations, should it become mandatory.
