Pardon the more paranoid inhabitants of Invergordon, unfortunately my optimism with trying to do business with The Hellfire Legion / Commonwealth of Liberty / Liberty Insurgency / Task Force Prometheus whatever your group chooses to identify as now. Despite my repeated attempts to break the ice between our two groups, transmissions which I am currently unable to locate, I always received a cold shoulder and insults calling us nothing more than smugglers and thieves labels which we Junkers find deeply offensive. In spite of this, maybe because of sheer stupidity, gluttony for denial, or perhaps because of the smell of profits I kept coming back trying to find a way to break through your people's stubborn resentment for my kind.

Now, when your planet has been ruined, fleets rendered to nothing more than scrap set for smelting, and your military forced to grovel to the very people you once hunted for sport. You come begging us for help. Seems the alliance with the Xenos didn't pan out as well as you had hoped eh? However, as I said before maybe I am greedy or foolish but I am willing to give you a chance one more.

Under normal circumstances I would say "Yes, pay the normal rental fees" and follow the normal policy we Junkers tend to follow of a "no questions asked".

For me to agree to this contract I will require the following:

1. I will need periodic updates on the status of the vessel, and I would like to know what its ultimate end purpose is other than the obvious combat purposes.
   
2. Will you require us to supply you with resources for the repair project or will you be supplying all on your own?
   
3. Can you promise me that, at lease for the foreseeable future, this vessel will not be used to assault Junker vessels or installations?
   
4. Will you promise abide by All laws and policies laid out in Junker Base Laws and Regulations.

I'll confess I wasn't fully expectin' this. If yer terms are offered in good faith, I can agree to 'em. However, the only thing we require for this project is the drydock itself -- if you can't offer us Invergordon, then we'll go elsewhere. Is that somethin' yer capable of? If so, I'll happily share all the information you need. Maybe this can be the start of a turnaround in our relations, as no one's in a position to make that happen more easily than the two of us.

Short answer, yes I have the authority to override other Junker votes in situations where I feel they may be misguided in their decisions.

Long answer, I am going to need something to bargain with when other Junker families when they ask questions as to why I made this decision. This would certainly be a big step in mending old wounds.

So what do you say, do we have a deal?
