Hey there, Doc Holliday. Not sure if you remember me--about six years ago I sent out a request to MFE for doctors that could come to Andorra Haven to work with the civilian population there and help keep them alive and healthy. Those doctors are still with us, but that's not why I'm reaching out to you.

You're more or less the popularly voted governor of Erie right now. While you've made it repeatedly clear that y'don't wanna be involved with the fighting, I still feel like it's in the New Dawn's best interest to reach out to you. If we're gonna free Pennsylvania, and do it right, then we need to make sure that we're serving the best interests of the people that live there, and the people that are most vulnerable to reprisal from Liberty.

You may have seen my other communication to the coalition forces already. I said there that it's gonna get worse before it gets better, and I stand by that. Fighting's bloody and vicious, and while nobody deserves to be subjected to the horrors of war, Liberty's made it clear that they're not gonna acquiesce peacefully. Knowing them, they'll take out any resistance on the people of Erie, trying to intimidate us into hesitating. So far, it's worked out pretty well for them.

I wanna mitigate this as much as humanly possible, and so does the New Dawn. I want your help. We can't know what will help most if we don't know what people actually need--you're as close to a voice of the people right now as I can think of. Tell us where we can be of most use. Where we can drop supplies, where we should avoid attacks, who needs most protection, who's most likely to be at risk. If we can pre-emptively put safeguards in place for people then we're more likely to avoid large-scale bloodshed, and I know you don't want anyone to get hurt.

This is a really tough thing to ask of you, and I'm not gonna hold it against you if you don't think that working with us in this capacity is a good idea. But I wanna demonstrate to you and the people of Erie that we're not in this for blood--we're in this 'cuz we think that we can do right by you. Because we wanna see Erie safe, and free of Liberty's tyranny.

Miss Solatra,

I do remember that request and yes, I do get reports from staff out there of their work. So long as they are needed, they will remain. I rotate staff so that they do not get stuck out there more than they want to so I am glad things are working out. Now, let us discuss the current matter, Erie.

I know how the resistance wants Liberty out. After what Bretonia did on Gran Canaria, so do I. I see Liberty as just as bad as Bretonia. In fact, I see them as worse being that they betrayed Med Force Enterprises. I do agree, things will get worse before they get better and I will be telling that fact to the Liberty governor. Yes, I will be meeting with him and I have already told him how I feel.

I will be telling him that the only way peace will be achieved on Erie is if the governor is a Zoner and that Liberty influence leaves. Liberty plans to improve infrastructure on the planet and restore order. Right now, I am in the best position I can be, trying to be that voice of reason. Do I expect to succeed? Not really. Because of my work, I cannot take a front line approach but I will think of something. Remember, I own a sizeable piece of land on Erie.

I think the better question is, what do YOU need? I would rather not do this over coms. Perhaps we can meet. I have a very good friend who owns a trading post just outside the capital city. I can meet you there and you may be able to pick up some goods. Let me know what you think.

Good to hear from you, Doc. Sorry for keeping you waiting, there's been a lot of work to do.

What the New Dawn needs most right now is hands. We don't have a lot of people, and any losses are going to hurt pretty bad at the moment. Without more members it's gonna be hard to keep up momentum, even with allies.

I'm happy to meet you on Erie. Lemme know the time and place. Getting planetside will be a bit of a headache, but I'll figure it out.
