The Organisation wasn't going anywhere.

They waited for the right moment.

Days stretched into weeks, weeks into months, months into years and years into an eternity. The plan presented to the EOS Commissariat assumed that the Royalists' transition from the Enclave to the Confederation was only part of their vast scheme to reinstate the Crown regime in Gallia.

The Royalists were also waiting for the right moment.

Day after day, the Organisation and the Royalists planned their steps, searching for sympathisers and allies for their own plans. For their victory. After the events of the Gallic War, big words ceased to have any meaning. Silence became the main weapon in the Fifth House of Sirius. Once exclusively the tool of intelligence services, silence has now become a widely used weapon among both the Organisation and the ex-Royalists. Those who had a hand in creating the Union.

Former fighters for the Republic joined the EOS, while the former Crown nobility joined the Royalists. Both sides gained strength, even if secretly, step by step, knowing that the hour of a new war would come. A new bloodshed in which they would put an end to things once and for all.

Then they left. They evaporated. Disappeared. The reason why one of The Council's most secret intelligence services decided to join the radical Maquis movement is unknown. The Maquis people themselves did not know what to expect from the newly arrived reinforcements, who only indicated their affiliation with the Republic and its cause. They did not need to know that among them were spies and saboteurs trained to kill. The only ones left 'on the other side' were Paris and it's crew.

Paris waited for the right moment.

Days stretched into weeks, weeks into months and months into years. The organisation began the radical eradication of Royalism, inflicting maximum damage on the Union's forces. Terrible things were done in the name of the greater good, including sabotage and bloody reprisals. The toll rose to the thousands of unfortunates who fell into the meat grinder, the handle of which was turned by people who had once sworn loyalty to Gallia, even in death.

The Resurgent started to move. The time has come.

They will end this. Standing on a mountain of corpses and covered in blood, they will complete their decades-long mission.

At any cost.

Because it is necessary.
