It appears that Coronado is in a spot of bother. Some 'rough weather' has caused quite the stir with stations in disrepair and vessels cast adrift. A terrible business. I propose we put our heads together and concoct a plan to aid the fellows. The Crayterians have been good sports up in the Tau's, giving the Gallian's what for, and it just won't do to see an ally of ours take a blow and not offer a helping hand.
Resource and manpower are already strained, I know, but if we were to take a suckerpunch like that we'd be hoping our allies would do the same for us. So, compatriots, what can we rustle up? What construction materials, hull paneling, etc etc... can we spare for transport to Sabah? What might they find useful in their time of need? If you find yourself concerned about budgetary constraints, let me know the figure to cover.
Let us consider the security of our little venture. I dare say it may put us at risk of a little fistycuffs with reports of piracy on the rise and what not. The deployment of armed forces en-mass may be pulling manpower from the front, so how about we sort it out ourselves, hmm? Civil Defence Initiative pilots, what say you to a little jaunt to the Barrier's rim and back? If we think we need more to ensure security, I'll reach out to command.

Thank you for your message.
Typically, the Civil Defence Initiate is unable to carry out extraterritorial operations, save those strictly necessary to ensure the effective management of the Bretonian prison estate. Primarily this includes the escort of Her Majesty's Prison Ships as they extradite foreign nationals back to their Houses of origin. Given the nature of your request and the sensitivity of the circumstances, I have nevertheless escalated your requirements to the Home Secretary for consultation.
He has required that we issue a wing to your care on secondment, as a personal security detachment. Please note that while I am happy to comply with this requirement, my special constables are not specifically trained in counterespionage or close protection work. As a result, you may wish to delegate their direction to a trained Intelligence Service attaché, or a personal protection coordinator. In the interest of minimizing the risk of diplomatic... incidents... you may also wish to limit their exposure to foreign dignitaries.
Your office will receive a pilot roster shortly, once we have reallocated resources to try and cover the shortfall in patrol deployments. Your offer to cover the budget deficit for the deployment is also extremely gracious - I can include these forecasts with the roster. I would recommend contacting the Home Office's finance unit to discuss to what extent a contribution can be folded into the operational budget.
