Now that the first phase of our plan is complete, we can speak more openly. Our priority was to minimize Corsair interference.
We’ve extended our reach into the Omegas, Zoners have operated there for centuries, of course, but omega-55 is a new undertaking for us. We’re aware it is a war zone; frankly, that risk profile is not far from daily life in the deep Omicrons.
The Erie crisis drove many Zoners to flee; a portion of them joined Phoenix. That new blood allowed some of our seasoned personnel to pursue a long-deferred aim: exploring the farthest reaches of the Omegas. Early reports identified opportunities that justified the risk, hence the establishment of our installation.
We are already opening channels with the Red Hessians; I won’t elaborate further until an agreement is in hand. Given our existing cooperation with the Coalition’s Ministry of Plenty on iridium commerce and counter-Corsair efforts. I’m confident we can structure additional mutual benefits.
On that note, we were granted Red Visas and would like to renew/extend them to keep our trade flowing. Our new station is hungry for basic industrial materials, and our trade fleet stands ready to haul what you require in return.
TO: Jonathan Cayran FROM: Captain Oliver Quirk ENCRYPTION:HIGH
Greetings, Jonathan Cayran.
My name is Oliver Quirk, on rights of deputy HeadQuarters of High Command, I will respond to this communication and further ones for now.
First by first your actions with modular installation in Omega-55. You know that was, soft say, not nice from your side. If you want to continue keep relations between Coalition People's republic and Phoenix in positive way, I'd give you advise not repeat actions like that in future. Keep in secret something like that without let us know is risky move, and put relations between us to unstable status. We hope you understand and realize point of these words.
Second thing is that we want to see full logs about your negotiations with Red Hessians in case to have full picture about your agreement.
Third about additional mutual benefits. In past we had fruitful partnership and now guess it will have same result for our organisations. Main direction will stay an Iridium trade way but we also open for more options and would like to hear what else you can offer to us. In back we can provide our trade convoys to your modular installation with necessary resources and give your temporary VISA with restricted Red access.
Restricted Red access means that you can transporting commodities to our Import market without restrictions, of course, except the mentioned goods in Section 2 "Criminal code" Article 6 "Transporting Restricted Cargo" of Coalition laws. For export market there will be restrictions only on Coalition technology. Which means you are not allowed to buy weapons, thrusters and etc which is considered as Coalition technology.
Also we would like to hear your report about situation about Planet Pygar and how supply deliveries affected on lifes of citizen this planet.
Summing everything what was said above we looking forward for partnership which will be based on trust, respect, openness and honesty between Coalition People's Republic and Phoenix.
First, please accept our apologies, time was of the essence.
Second, we’ll proceed once the deal is signed and the Red Hessians agree to share intelligence. Alternatively, you may contact them directly; you have my authorization here should they request it.
Third, once we reach a new agreement, iridium shipments will resume, and we will continue fortifying our positions with Volgograd Ordinance systems. As our deep-Omega operations ramp up, saleable output will increase; once the station is fully open, you’ll be free to purchase what you need—ensuring your convoys have a worthwhile return cargo.
Regarding Pygar, the situation has stabilized. We’ve constructed bunkers in deep tunnels to store frozen provisions and weaponry, and we should be able to withstand a siege if it comes to that. The extreme sandstorms make ground invasion costly, and they render orbital bombardment hazardous.
TO: Jonathan Cayran FROM: Captain Oliver Quirk ENCRYPTION:HIGH
Jonathan Cayran, your position on the agreement is clear to us. As for access to the complex and trade deliveries to it, when construction is completed, provide access, for starters, to ships from the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army.
Regarding continued cooperation about Iridium supplies and exchange of Volgograd Ordinance and Food Rations, I think we can conclude it in the near future. We still have Iridium in warehouses from your previous deliveries and it will be better when you finish with your operations in uncharted omegas, just to keep output on high level.
However, if you have an acute shortage of some resources to complete construction of your base, you can let us know and we will be able to provide it with the necessary resources as soon as possible.
Also, news from Planet Pygar suggests that your citizens are becoming stronger and more combat-ready to counter the Corsair threat. But there are additional ways to strengthen security in this region.
We are considering sending three gunboats and two cruisers to Omicron Theta system to conduct raiding attacks on Corsair convoys and warships. However, they cannot fly forever and will need a place to replenish ammunition, fuel, and supplies to continue their duties. We believe that Corfu Station may be suitable for this purpose and other Coalition vessels could recieve right dock on it.
We’ve just opened the station to the public, Coalition vessels should now have full access. Rest assured, Corsairs are barred from entry.
From time to time the facility will require industrial materials; if you can supply those, it would be greatly appreciated. In return, I’m granting you docking privileges at Corfu. A word of caution: capacity remains limited, so you may need to implement a rotation schedule to avoid congestion.
TO: Jonathan Cayran FROM: Captain Oliver Quirk ENCRYPTION:HIGH
Jonathan Cayran, we will notice this information, also can support on our protection if they dare to attack base. About delivery of Industrial Materials you could contact with George Willson foreign economic specialist from Ministry of Plenty and discuss terms about it. As far as I know you contacted with him in past during first Iridium company.
By the way out transports ready to move in near time if you can get green light about new trade agreement.
For now it is all. If you will have any news, report about it. And we hope there will be no hiding information anymore. Good luck for you.
