Greetings once again, Bristol,

I hope all is well on your side.
With Liberty’s renewed crackdown on Erie, more Zoners are leaving House space for the fringes.
To equip those crews, I’m once again turning to your craftsmanship and would like to order three additional Bulwarks.

I also have two unusual requests:

While surveying the deep Omegas, we located a rich osmium vein that we’re now exploiting. We’re making solid progress on iridium-based alloys and have begun experimenting with other materials. Platinum has proven promising for foils and crystals used in top-end systems. By chance, the osmium seam is co-mingled with gold and silver, which we’re refining at Sparta—and it yields some platinum ore as well.
If you could spare a small engineering team to audit our platinum refining process, we’ll bring them aboard with the Bulwark delivery. To be clear, we do not intend to compete in the already saturated platinum market; this is strictly for local production and R&D.

We’re completing a refit of a Q-ship with a standard docking module. As the designers of the compact, purpose-built Bulwark—complete with docking solutions—we’d value a second opinion on our final integration phase.

For compensation, we can increase niobium deliveries to Akutan and provide osmium if you’d like to run your own experiments.

Please let me know your lead times, pricing, and whether you can assign engineers for the audit and design review.

With resolve and determination,

Jonathan Cayran, out.

Afternoon Cayran,

I’m sorry for the circumstances for these new Phoenix members, especially as far as being forced off into a group as expeditious and frontiersman as yours, though I’m glad that Bristol may help in some way to ease that transition with a ship like the Bulwark.

We currently have two available for sale, with the third being delayed due to a a lack of reasonably priced Propulsion Systems. The cost for these, due to the bulk order, will be 13.000.000 cr to account Akutan as usual. I’m more than willing to provide transfer for the first two as materials are prepared for the third.

As to your other request, after some extensive talks with our Manufacturing Director on Arcetri Station, I can say that a small team of five personnel can be provided for an auditing process. For this, however, we’d require that you provide the inspecting personnel each a stipend of 20,000 credits for hazard pay, that they receive rations as the rest of the embarked crew for the duration of their inspection process, and that they receive free transport by a Phoenix vessel to, at minimum, inter-house space. A full report on the refining process at Sparta would be provided prior to their departure.

Your offer to provide increased Niobium shipments would be welcome, though at this time we do not anticipate a need for Osmium at Bristol C&M facilities.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Greetings Mr Molitor,

The credits for the ships, and the initial stipend for your inspection team, have been transferred.

We’ll meet your employee needs to the best of our ability. The new Bulwark’s crew is carrying the full documentation on our Sparta refinery for your engineers.
The route should be secure, but we’re assigning additional escort to those vessels as a precaution.

One last note: a convoy has just delivered 16,000 units of niobium to Akutan.

With resolve and determination,

Jonathan Cayran, out.

Afternoon Cayran,

Thank you for your diligence in ensuring the safety of our personnel. We’ve confirmed payment and the ship transfer codes have been sent to you on the usual frequency. Again, if there are any issues, just get back to us and we’ll be sure to sort things out properly.

Greetings Mr Molitor,

All three ships—and their crews—have arrived safely at our station.

We have high hopes for your engineers. They’ve already refined the docking schematics, and others have begun work on the platinum refinery.
A few have requested an in-situ inspection of the platinum source, so we’ve prepared a vessel to take them to Fisher for a firsthand survey.
An escort will accompany them, of course.

With resolve and determination,

Jonathan Cayran, out.
