Hello Friends!! I am Olav, and I am eager to return to the world of Freelancer, in this new (to me) variant of Discovery Freelancer. I played quite regularly in a pirate guild back on the Void server back before "The Great Collapse", or the end of the Microsoft hosted servers. I struggled to play after that, they I previously poked around on Discovery a couple times after that, it never stuck.
This time however, I find myself in a position in life where I am eagerly looking for the old nostalgia of flying in Freelancer now with "grown up" eyes. Previously I played in high school, and a little in college. Now I am a husband and dad with 5 kids. While I don't have a TON of time to play, I look forward to diving into Discovery Freelancer, and eventually introducing it to my children. I've made a couple of friends so far, but I'd love to get to know you all.
I was a menace as a "snub" pilot back in the day, but in this stage of life I look forward to developing my logistic skills. Sounds like there could be a lot of room to help a group maintain PoBs, so I'd be happy to explore helping with that.
