Anyone have any advice for an optimal weapons loadout for the Q-ship? I've been away for a spell and noticed that some changes (some positive, some negative) have taken place. What's the new meta?
There's quite a few options tbh. But at least 1 flak is always mandatory.
Right now I'm running 1x cruiser railgun, 2x cruiser shards, 2x pulse, 1xflak and 3 zoner primary turrets.
For non-code variant you can use Tachyon lance instead of railgun, it's the most generic cruiser heavy slot.
LightMortar can work too, but it's turn rate is abysmal and you need to depend on hull movement more to get it on target.
Instead of Shards you can use 2x Impact if you prefer single shot damage over triple-shot gun.
Cruiser primary turrets are not basically *almost* hitscan at certain ranges . Low DPS but basically guaranteed hits. Using the rear guns (shards/impacts) more often to shoot fighters is often better choice.As for shield, graviton is the way to go.
