This is not the game I remember. Not sure what happened.
I tried running this RP event but it is impossible.
I tried both as Samura and as the pirates. As soon as the Samura ship approaches Kyushu 2-3 of those [EX] people gank you. As soon as my pirate ship approaches there are 3-4 of those Naginata KOI ships . I can see them logging in when they see a ship they know belongs to someone doing the event. Not sure if they are the same group or not.
With about 20 people on the server I guess it is easy to write down or remember who is doing the event and monitor it to collect bounties.
Back in the day we use to call that metagaming and it was frowned upon, but seems to be the norm now.
Whoever designed the bounty reward system did not take that into account I guess.
Anyways just a small rant.
After having spent a few hours and millions of credits to set up ships for the even and having this experience, this really isn't worth it.
Wish you all the best, and I hope your experience will differ, but I don't think I will be flying around Sirius again.
Hey mister, there actually is a rule against Ganking that was recently introduced - I'd suggest you throw in a report against the Koi and EX before you really call it a day - the player list is legal metagaming, however and is the price to pay for being able to find people with low population

Hey, it sucks when you put in time and effort and it ends up feeling pointless. But honestly, there’s no need to quit over it. There is a rule about that kind of stuff, and it’s not supposed to be happening.
If it keeps happening, maybe just bring it up with the admins they can check logs and sort it out. Would be nice to see you stick around, the server’s always better with more people playing events.

First of all, we are deeply sorry that you had to experience this in the current event.
Yet we need to clarify that the ships in the screenshots are transports and not ships we use to fight actively - we may need to add signatures to the tag to mark combat ships.
The [EX]-Scanner ship in particular is a ship solely used in roleplay.

Also may we ask you to describe the gank incident in DMs to solve this issue?
Unfortunately, the event has "Brought out some strangeness" and frankly is far from the norm. Corporate ships blasting one-another in House space is NOT how things are supposed to go and I have encouraged players to file reports for such actions which go against server rules, ID rules, and so on. Personally, I suggest the same for you.
I also honestly suggest not even bothering with the event itself, between the rewards for such and the players who are involved it simply isn't all that worth it. There are other locations in Sirius to fly and other people to RP with, and I'm sure you'd find em.
