I understand we have been in business for just a short amount of time but allow me to formerly introduce myself. My name is Bill Wagner and I have taken over as president of Universal Shipping. It is my honor to rebound our relationship as 2 of the "Big 3" Liberty corporations.
I had something in mind that we could discuss privately. Some of our execs could host a dinner meeting over at Newark so then that way we could truly meet in person. I'm certain what I have in mind would be mutually beneficial to us both.
We'll have to snag a couple bottles of Gallic wine from some of our inbound freighters. I hope the restaurant won't mind!

President Wagner,
Good to hear from you directly, congratulations on your appointment. I’ve barely had a moment to sit still since taking the CEO chair myself, so I know exactly what kind of chaos you’re standing in right now.
About that dinner on Newark… I’ll be honest with you: with the transition still in full swing over here, my schedule is a mess of briefings, procurement reviews, and department leads who suddenly forget how to file reports unless I stand over their shoulder. I’m not sure I’d have the time or the bandwidth to attend in person without leaving three other fires unattended back at Baltimore.
For now, it would be best if we kept things remote. That way nothing gets delayed on either side and we can discuss whatever you have in mind without me having to carve out an evening I probably can’t spare.
That said, I’m open to hearing your proposal anytime.

That's too bad. I hear Newark has some awesome venues to conduct business in. It would have been nice if our staff would have met. But, you raise a good point... with virtual technology taking off nowadays, and with a questionable economy, this might be a proper lens for our hard working employees to see.
We'll send you something. Until next time!
