To whom it may concern,
My name is Charles Kinsale, I am the Director of Properties and Acquisitions within the Bamburgh Company. I am writing to you today with a proposal that will benefit the Kingdom of Bretonia and its people.
Conflict is sadly at the forefront of every Bretonian's mind, our great house bares the scars for everyone to see. From New London to Leeds, wreckage from our past is still strewn around, reminding us of the ultimate sacrifice our defenders made to keep us, the people, safe from harm. However, our great house is plagued by conflict and death, coming from threats within but also externally.
As it stands today, the Kingdom of Bretonia, our home, is open to foreign powers waltzing in using the same jumpgates and lanes as we all use on a daily basis. Our borders are wide open, only yesterday one of our vessels witnessed a Coalition warship transiting the lanes in Cambridge, an insult to everyone who defends our borders.
Now, this is no one's fault, we were on the brink of annihilation, and now we are rebuilding. Only the venerable Kingston stands to defend our borders from ne'er-do-wells. This is something that we at the Bamburgh Company would like to change, for the betterment of everyone.
Our proposal is simple, we fund and construct three new Eden Class Border Stations for the purpose of interdiction and customs control. The locations we propose are;
Magellan jumpgate, Manchester, to replace the Liverpool
Omega 3 jumpgate, Cambridge
Tau 31 jumpgate, Leeds
These locations were chosen due to their exposed nature. Currently they allow anyone to freely enter Bretonia. We say no more.
No more will pirates and smugglers be able to enter our house uncontested. No more will Mollys be able to freely bring supplies in to aid their cause.
We will stand together, united, with a ring of Bretonian steel to defend our glorious house.
Your people stand ready, awaiting your response.
Yours faithfully,
C. Kinsale Properties & Acquisitions Director, Bamburgh Co.
