Esteemed Trade Secretary,
The Admiralty Board wishes to inquire upon the stance of the Trade Department regarding the possibility of enabling exports of military surplus to the House of Rheinland in light of our closer cooperation in the Omega region. Such an agreement would see Bretonian Crown Corporations and Rheinland counterparts, Daumann and Kruger, and military auxiliary vessels, receive permits to allow for the safe transport of the aforementioned materiel.

In consultation with the Foreign Secretary and Defence Secretary, it has been agreed that an economic outreach to Rheinland regarding reciprocal trade permissions would be a worthwhile endeavour.
The Department for Trade and Industry has been nominated as the lead agency to manage these discussions, with support from the Foreign Office.
It has been provisionally agreed that revenue from sales, in addition to tax or tariff receipts, will be ringfenced for specified projects.
Primary beneficiaries have been identified as the colonial development of Planet Carlisle, and investment into the Northern Aegis program intended to secure our porous northern borders against future threats of aggression.
As talks progress, the Admiralty may be required to provide an military attaché to assist with operational details.
Yours sincerely
On behalf of Yasmin Kaur
Secretary of State for Trade and Industry
Department for Trade and Industry
Kingdom of Bretonia
