So. I am assuming you made it out intact.
If not, this message matters little. Kazu and Knight managed to save over half of the abductees, from what I was told. Quite a few are in a strange trance, almost comatose, but they seem to gradually be coming to their senses. Unfortunately, some of them were killed by the freighter's pilot before his ship could be properly neutralized. A shame, that. Regardless of how that situation resolved, I am more curious about you.
In my line of work, over many, many years, I have observed and encountered many a thing. And one lesson, one axiom I have learned is to remain vigilant for the anomalies. People, concepts, conversations, ships, celestial objects... when something is out of place, it often has a story for why it is there. Many things are often out of place. A plate knocked to the floor. A soldier in a time of peace. An alien among familiar faces. A freelancer who was at Toledo. You catch my meaning.
As one of those anomalies, you have piqued my interest. You show up to Chugoku, expecting to use it as a concealed transit point to another heavily-guarded and secluded system. You claim to merely be a curious pilot in search of answers, but also speak of placing information in the right hands to instill widespread change and action. You're familiar with the Nomads, and with several notable events in the Omicrons. There were a few other details, but these are the major beats. Three strikes, to use a crude metaphor.
Rest assured, I do not reach out to accuse you of any unacceptable trickery. In the war of shadows, I know all too well the value of keeping one's secrets close to the chest. No, the reason I reach out is half-probe, half-offer.
If you truly are committed to confronting the alien rot eating away at the throne's legs, the force pushing the Empire to the edge of oblivion... then we may come to an accord for cooperation. The Kusari Liberation Army, nascent as it is, fully realizes the scope, scale, and severity of the Nomad threat. And through this, we also recognize how the agents of the enemy prey upon human systems to engineer division and conquer the ruins. Whatever information you have, whatever you can provide to us would go directly to fighting the Great Adversary. In fact, you yourself have seen how well we are positioned to strike at a very particular portion of their schemes.
Consider the suggestion. If you decide to enter into a partnership of sorts, I can reveal some of what we know, as well. In the spirit of cooperation, of course.
I await your timely response.
