Esteemed representatives of the civilised Houses and sovereign states,
I am writing to you on behalf of Prime Minister Ambrister Jones and her royal majesty, Queen Carina I, regarding recent concerning developments that affect the safety and stability of the sector at large.
The Kingdom of Bretonia wishes to ensure peace, prosperity, and good-will between our neighbours, and believes it is essential that a summit is convened to resolve a number of emerging threats that strike directly at this objective.
Accordingly, we wish to invite representatives of the civilised Houses and sovereign states to New London, so that we may attempt to mediate disputes and establish a treaty framework for navigating the current predicament we all mutually face.
Items of critical importance to the security of the sector that must be addressed include:
- Finding mutually satisfying resolutions to the ongoing territorial and legal disputes between the Republic of Liberty and Reformed Empire of Kusari.
- Discussing the ongoing stresses on the Sirian economy, including trade sanctions, embargos, and market uncertainty caused by fears of impending broader restrictions.
- Confirming the Houses' position on the public disclosure of schematics for the so-called Jump Drive, and the lawfulness of its use.
Determining how the proliferation of this technology may impact House security.
Determining how the requirements of the Boorman Treaty should be read alongside the capabilities of the Jump Drive.
Determining whether a new or revised treaty structure is required to account for the existence of this technology.
- Discussing the belligerent and unacceptable posturing of the Gallic Union in the Taus, and the steps necessary to condemn and constrain their unlawful aggression.
I appreciate that similar requests for such a summit were declined last year, however matters have now progressed to a point where it may soon be too late to step back from the brink. Sirius teeters on the precipice of a peril unseen since the opening days of the Colony Wars or the Gallic Invasion.
It is the hope of Bretonia and Her Majesty that bold action may yet avert a full-blown crisis. In the hope of peace and averting a terrible fate for the peoples of our states, we pray for your attendance.
Kōkyo, Imperial District, New Tokyo, House Kusari, 836 A.S
Foreign Affairs Minister - Toshinori Kojirou
Esteemed representative of Bretonia,
With sincere gratitude, the Empire of Kusari shall accept this invitation to the forthcoming summit.
We have long held that maintaining open channels of dialogue remains essential to the stability of the Sirius Sector. While earlier invitations were, after careful consideration, declined, the Empire is pleased to accept this one.
Although many voices within the Imperial Diet continue to question the possibility of softening Liberty’s hardened position, it would be a disservice to the Kingdom of Bretonia’s steadfast efforts toward a peaceful resolution and our long years partnership if we were to withhold our participation at this point in time again.
The Imperial Diet has already concluded its proceedings on Your Excellency's Queen Carina’s invitation and has approved the composition of the delegation. For security reasons, however, the names of its members and the designated escorting forces will not be disclosed in this channel. A separate encrypted message will be sent shortly, providing all necessary details in accordance with standard protocol. The Empire of Kusari looks forward to constructive discussions at the appointed time, guided by honor and mutual respect.
With utmost respect,
Imperial Foreign Affairs Minister,
Toshinori Kojirou
The Republic will gladly send a delegation to attend your proposed summit. We always welcome a frank discussion of grievances, and the situation in Bretonia has been on our minds lately. I cannot confirm the full list of attendees at this time, but we will expect the right to bring a small military escort along to provide security. My office will be able to provide you with a list of the relevant ships and personnel should you request it.
I look forward to the summit, and to meeting with you personally.
The Guild is privileged to be invited to such an important gathering that concerns the entirety of the civilised Sirius Sector. When you are in a position to confirm the specifics of times and location, GMG shall endeavour to arrange attendance to contribute to shaping our joint futures.

We aim to begin proceedings by Monday 6th April, 836.
The government of Rheinland sees no reason to object to these proceedings and is offering our full participation, as previously discussed in prior communications. We humbly reaffirm our commitment to peace in Sirius and wholeheartedly pledge to support all your actions.
Our delegation looks forward to meeting you at Buckingham Palace, and we graciously accept your offer of hospitality in Bretonia.
