I am trying to start the game from the Discovery launcher. However, I get this error message:

"I'm sorry, but the account name and password you provided are not valid on this server. Be sure that you typed your account name and password correctly and try again."

I have tried running as administrator in Windows, I have re-installed Freelancer and Discovery, to be sure that I saved the files on a local disk outside the Program folder. But it seems to not matter whatever I do. I still get that same error. Any tips?

All the best,

Wilmore

It could be an issue with your account. If you create a new account via the launcher and try to connect, does it give you the same error?
