Heard you’re the ones to talk to about this kind of work. One of my people put something together. He’s an egghead, not like the rest of us, but he knows what he’s doing. I’ve attached his project. It’s not finished, but there’s something there. Could make a difference if it’s built right.
We don’t have the materials or the setup to take it further. That’s where you come in. If it’s worth your time, take a look and see what you can do with it.
Let me know if there’s a path forward.
As for who we are, let's just say we're you're more...colorful cousins in Liberty.
That’s an interesting prototype ye’ve got there. Reminds me a fair bit of our own exploration suits when we make planetfall on some newly found world.
I’ll be honest wi’ ye — our hands are already full to the brim. Still, I can carve out a bit o’ room for a project like this.
If I understand ye right, the research side’s already been done, and what ye need now is the industrial capacity to produce a prototype and push the matter further. If that’s the case, then aye. I should be able tae find a lab willing to take it on.
The real question is what comes after. Will ye be workin’ from one of our installations tae continue the research, or are we meant tae deliver the prototype elsewhere?
If it’s the latter, and the thing’s not yet fully functional, I can already see a good number o’ back-and-forth trips in our future. Not that it’s any real problem, mind. We already haul deuterium from Bristol in Pennsy’ every month.
From my talks with Hayes, the research is done. What’s left is a prototype. Build it, assemble it, test it. I'm sure it shares some ground with your suits, but from what I’ve seen it leans more military. That’s what we need.
Hayes isn’t built for a fight, so we’re not keeping him here. Sent him ahead in a Spatial fighter, callsign [Foxtrot]. He made a stop at Gran Canaria to see family while we sort out where to send him next. Livadia Shipyards or the research outpost there would make sense, but I don’t know what you’ve got operating out in the Omicrons or Omegas these days. He just needs the industrial means to construct the suit along with the materials which we're willing to pay for.
We’ll stand by.

“The worst kind of loneliness is feeling alone while surrounded by people.” Do you think anyone would notice if I was gone?
We’ve Sparta close by, but that system’s in constant turmoil. Omega-55 is quite the sight and quite the battlefield besides.
Otherwise, there’s Pytheas, our newly built installation in Omega-11, but that place is more giant laboratory than proper factory.
So Livadia would be yer best option. I’ll wait for yer man there, and if ye send me the list in advance, I’ll try tae fetch what he needs before he arrives.
