Hellfire Legion has been defunct for many years. I remember them well, back when these guys were forced to substitute IFF with their at the time allies in Lane Hackers. They got swept into the shadow of its own attempt at governing: The Commonwealth which in turn had been made irrelevant by those totalitarian insurrectionists hot shots from Bering. These didn’t last either. Consider this comm channel to remain open but before we talk about any business, I want to know exactly who I am talking to. I sincerely doubt I am talking to a ghost of a corpse long dead.

Boo. I mean thank you for receiving me.

I’m flying under the colors of Task Force Prometheus. I reckon you’ve heard all about us. Part of that “all about us” would include the conditions that prevail in Pennsylvania, but I repeat myself. Most of the folks wearing the Legion’s colors regrouped as Prometheus and we’ve been fighting for the cause ever since. For better or for worse.

The Commonwealth’s proof of concept survived until Knight’s coup. Since the Insurgency went defunct after we got as many people as possible clear of the Ohio, we have unburdened ourselves of Knight’s poison, the same poison deep in the veins of Cobra’s warband. All that is left for us is the Legion. Everything else has been burned away.
