ALCON,

This is Miles Becker, Akutan Station administration.

Currently we have a contract available for all Bristol vessels in Bering. We’re needing a BDR F-8 "Defender" for a client, simple as that. As such, I’m needing data entries on every Defender in the Tanner Belt, Bering or Hudson, able to be moved over to Akutan Station for refurbishment and flight testing.

These data entries will include:
● Visual ID of the vessel, with coordinates attached
● Radiation Scan (Low, Medium, High)
● Structural Scan (Failed, Partial, Intact)
● Notable missing structures (Wings, engine, cockpit)
For each scan, I have been authorized to pay out 100.000 cr.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing back from you. Godspeed, pilots.

Sarubēji no ken ni tsuite,

This is Tani Iwao, flying B|-Yunaska-3. On a routine patrol in Bering, I detected and surveyed 4 possible ships fitting this request. All wrecks were detected in relative proximity to the trade lanes.

I did not enter the Anadyr or Norton Debris fields, as the likelihood of discovering a salvage candidate that does not require extensive work appears low from those locations due to the age, radiation, and proximity of mines.

It should be noted that several vessels fit this possible description in the Nunivak Minefield, but these are likely older Defender models from the Hudson War. As such, I do not think they would be wholly suitable and, again, the proximity of mines would make any salvage attempt impractical.

[+]Survey 1
[Image: CYuK2EV.png]

● Location: F-4
● Radiation: Low
● Structural: Partial
● Notable Features:
Failure of right wing, cockpit, engine. Failures appear to be internal, likely from stresses during dogfighting during the Scouring. Apparently a Separatist, though no markings denote this. Possible destruction of external markings occurred by rapid salvage for souvenirs or former Separatists. No pilot present.
[+]Survey 2
[Image: HWTdaMf.png]

● Location: F-5
● Radiation: Low
● Structural: Partial
● Notable Features:
Partial failure of wing, cockpit, and failure of engine. Failures again appear to be internal, fighter again appears to be Separatist. No pilot present.
[+]Survey 3
[Image: fSrOZ1T.png]

● Location: F-5
● Radiation: Medium
● Structural: Partial
● Notable Features:
Failure of wing and engine, with overall degrading of outer hull due to radiation pocket. I believe any electronics inside to be degraded at this point. Complete loss for this task. No pilot present.
[+]Survey 4
[Image: WaAY40Y.png]

● Location: C-3
● Radiation: Low
● Structural: Failed
● Notable Features:
Failure of wing, cockpit, and engine, as well as a hole through the center section. From the speeds needed, that it was recent, and proximity to the lane, believe it to have been debris from the trade lane. Complete loss for this task. Partial pilot present and marked for recovery.

At this point Mr Becker, I believe Survey 2 (F-5) to be most suitable for recovery and restoration, though I do not think this ‘client’ will be getting a wholly original fighter. It is also extremely close to Akutan Station, making the salvage process easy to say the least.

Sakihodo ha arigatou gozaimashita.
