Ive played tons of freelancer back in the old days *tng*
found dicovery on the web and looked at it, and di like it very well.
wanted to try it out again, so installed the game and followed the instructions on how to log into the server.
Now ive stumpled into an problem, i can see the server, and its white.
But when i press to log into the server it says i cant log into it, reason is prolly coz its about to shut down.
waited a few hours, and tryed again, still the same msg. tryed 50 times now, and still get the same responce.
here ill post a screenshot so u can see what im talking about cant login picture
plz, if any have an sulution, or any ideas then shoot.
really wanted to try discovery, it seems to be so nice:)),

Thx for responding to my mail. Its very nice to see a gane such as freelancer still keeps its self alive. its rarly seen, and its few games who surrives the real world compatition...
Now, I just bought the asus G50V, so it was preinstalled with vista home premium.
I have ofcoz the regulaur firewall, and when i did run freelancer 1st time, it aske me if it should keep blocking, and i pressed the button "allow"
but, im running avast home eddition in the background, have not really had any problems with it before.
When i istalled the hole thing, i did run it as administrator.
i can take more screenshot of something, if u need to see some info on something, then let me know.
really wish we can solve this problem, and i really appriciate the help i get.

this is weird, i get 100% loss of packade. pinging 82.113.48.5
but when i try ping other sites, its 100% success...
so the problem might not be my installation, but my router? or?

it dosnt help just to shut it down, you have to completly remove it, i was not happy eder when i had to remove it, but i found a good program i cant put a link up just inkase it is agenst forum ruls
