This event is done, please see this post for the outcome.

It is time to get the event series properly started. If you would like to find out more about this event series, the associated economy event, and so on, see this thread: Pittsburgh Debris Field Clean-Up

First of all, basic information:

When: Sunday, June 14th, 19:00 UTC
Where: Pittsburgh Debris Field, Planet Pittsburgh
Who: ALG, DSE, LPI, LR, XA, and affiliated independents

If the time does not work for a good number of people, we will just have to find a new one.

Anyone who wants to participate should announce their interest so that we can avert any balancing catastrophies; we will try to accomodate as many people as we can. If you are a member of one of the participating factions it may be easiest to sign up with your faction leader, but it shouldn't be a problem to use this thread for that either.

If there are any other factions that would like to participate, you should have spoken up sooner, but you are welcome to make your case.

In the blue corner:

ALG Waste Disposal has hauled ships, equipment, and personelle specialized in salvaging to Planet Pittsburgh; ready to head out into the field. Deep Space Engineering has prepared facilities, ships, and personelle for the operation; ready to recieve and process the material. The Liberty Police are probably eating donuts on Ft Bush and in Patriots scattered across New York; ready to put them -- the donuts -- down without hesitation to keep the operation secure.

In the red corner:

The Liberty Rogues are massing, fully prepared, somewhere in the field; ready to make sure their scummy operations aren't jeopardized by the corporate scum. The Xenos are boiling for reasons not fully understood by anyone, but likely involving foreigners, jobs, and socialism; ready to throw misscolored plasma at anyone and everyone who disagree.

Finally, I would like to note that this first event is primarily to test the circumstances of the clean-up. Most important is to have fun, but this is merely a preview of what's to come!

I'm in, as well. I can bring my ALG Advanced Train or my LR Greyhound.

It would be 12:00, noon, PDT.

Any of those ships should be fine, though the LPI aren't being hired to transport anything.

ALG won't have much use for an Advanced Train, as far as I can think. They will be using primarily Movers and Mining Ships.
