Hi guys,

i search for a realy good Mining Place (lawfull and unlawfull)

The First 2 place in Pensylvania (550 per unit) and NY Pittsburgh (599 per unit) are the only one i know.

If there is one who knows a better place where i can good mining pls write here with system, coordinates, winning per unit and base where we can sell it. And pls dont forgett i search a place where the miningparts drop x-xx per hit and not only 1part (1Silver in colorado for example) per hit. that would be use much time for filling a 5000cargo hold ^^

Greetings TAU

*Sry for my bad english hope you can understand what i mean ^^*

Firstly, If you're wanting an even decent droprate when mining you need to change a lot of things on your character. You get bonus droprates from the server mining plugin if you're using a mining ship, miner ID and mining lasers. Which miner ID you purchase (standard/independant, IMG, Dauman, BMM, Kruger, etc..) determines which minable commodities you will get bonuses for (IMG has bonuses for niobium, while Kruger has bonuses for diamonds, for example). Best to check out Dusty's thread on mining here.

Next, a field with the best profit is not neccessarily near base with a high selling point - the speed at which you can fill your hold ultimately dictates the how quickly you can get money. Also, mining in disco (theoretically) is best done in groups to increase efficiency. Group up with a couple of mates for the fun and the extra money.

I can't really say which field is "the best" as like I said above, the type of ID you have effects the droprate you get at different asteroid fields. And anyways, the mod's name is Discovery - have fun exploring and finding al of the minefields yourself! It'll be the start of many interesting encounters, I assure it.

Also, this really isnt the place to be putting this question, but meh. You got it answered.:)

P.S. As a general direction to steer you in for new fields, travel "south" on the galactic map - that's all I'm gonna say!:P

If you say which particular company your going to work for, such as kruger, mollys or BMM (whatever). Then i think it's more than fair for you to be informed of where it's best for them to mine. Let us know and i'l be more than happy to help.
