Something has been troubling me, I know the Wilde are somewhat more suppressed than before, but even so I have encountered 1 Das Wilde player in 4.85, and that wasn't on my Hessian. Furthermore the only place I've seen the NPC's is near the New Berlin - Sigma 13 Jumphole, and at Bautzen Base in Dresden (They were removed in the final I believe) now sure, NPC's don't represent all that much, but even so a little activity would be nice to clear some things up.

By some things I mean a few rumors on Hessian Bases (Probably Corsair as well, but I haven't a clue)
For example:

So really I suppose this is directed at the Das Wilde Faction, find all the little purple squishies that overpopulate New York, force some of them into Wraiths or Valkyries and tell them to go cause a little Wilde-style havoc or give older members a good kick in the pants.

I don't mean to sound whiny, I know its tough to be the 2nd most hated group on Sirius, and then be the most popular group's little brother, but a little bit of terrifying explosions aren't too much to ask eh?

I think at the moment the entire faction is working on abusing my LWB character. They've been very active when I've been around in Rheinland recently.

Hmm, perhaps its just my time zone, but I've run into more Keepers than Wilde in Rheinland.

We're "tame" lately sort of like the calm before the storm.

Give it a few days, we're preparing to move. And then.... there will be plenty of "terrifying explosions". Mule, check your skype, I already got in touch with Blodo.

Our purpose is very vaguely defined by the infocards (and Igiss can't tell us too much), but we did get enough of it fixed so that following server rules (like, oh, talking) is no longer incredibly ooRP like one of the things suggested. Not like we ever followed such suggestions, but we're trying to keep the public-access infocards and our behavior related at least remotely.

The Keeper presence in the Omegas is also intentional. There's a few storylines in Bretonia you may want to read- check out Christy's Tea House and the order to withdraw the BAF from Cambridge for details.

We all wish we had Wilde and Keepers, and Indie Nomads, and Admin ships, and squishy donuts.

But we don't.

I find it odd, but people complain when we're active and blowing up people, and now people complain when we're inactive.

Now, as for NPCs, I asked for the ones around Bautzen to be removed, simply because I don't want a Wild Encounter to become mundane, like running into a Hessian NPC pirating the trade lane. I have a few places in mind that would be nice to have them, but we're waiting to .86.

One of the things that you guys must understand is that Wilde will never be a "daily visit" faction a la LN, LR, outcasts, ect. It is a small group that only makes its presence known when the time is right for such activities. I have no issues with people not seeing us for a week or more. But we're here.

And yes, I know there are lots of people willing to "take up the slack". See our faction status post.

Personally I always complained that you guys were too inactive.
But I was told you were roleplaying a subtle "race". And that
the inactiveness is just a way of making you seem more *rare* and *mysterious*

Edit: You shouldn't take people's rants to heart. Jump on your Wilde chars and have fun.
We like seeing you in-game;)

wassup

I'm sorry, who?

I only saw a Wilde ship once or twice, during my time in the RM and RFP. Since then I haven't even seen one on the listg of players online. Maybe it's time-zones, maybe it isn't, but i'm just saying I haven't seen any in a while.

Edit: Maybe it's because I haven't been looking out for them, but I normally notice faction tags when i'm going up or down the list.

[17:45:39] Wolfs Ghost (Murphy): Tom, you have problems. Go kill yourself.
[19:25:12] Johnny (Jam): Tomtom, I will beat you with a spoon.
[14:22:56] Prarabdh Thakur: KILL HIM WITH A SHEEP.
[17:40:48] Eagle (Junes): Tom should be slapped with a spoon.
[11:32:18] Warspite: Thank you for being so awesome Tom. <3
[18:17:36] Metano: I love you tomtom
[20:06:24] Warspite: I will seriously give you epic head.

I know I've had problems running into them. One time a whole fleet of them popped into Cambridge from o3 right ontop of me and a jr. constable... A total of 5 guns between us.:D

I suppose you need to give them a reason to appear? Only times I've seen 'em is for events, or those rare occasions as mentioned before. Then again, it is Bretonia. :S

Although that last fight in the stockade, if I bot/bat fed, we'd have won:P
