Liberty high indie capship count

I think it's the battlecruisers. They are stronger than a cruiser and can still put up a hell of a fight against a battleship. Thats why people like them, they can destroy cruisers which is what they mainly want. Because cruisers are so evenly powered and armoured it would be a fight all about strategy and weapon choice. But people can have a loop-hole with that by using the battlecruiser. So perhaps it would fix the un-even spread of indies capital ships around the game by giving each house a battlecruiser.

I would agree... Most of people in BH and Liberty simply overlook there is any cruiser and head for BC directly, and as you said, it's hell hard to get BC with a cruiser, and even tho BC can hardly kill Battleship, it still can cause some serious damge. Would be fair to give in more battlecruisers...or remove those which already are in (or drastically change the price, so people will actually think if they should buy BC or Cruiser)...

its the thing tht makes the houses different - to have different ships...

- rheinland has the big, heavy stuff...
- liberty the fast ones that can dish out a lot but cannot take as much
- kusari the lightweight ones that are rather fragile
- bretonia.... well, it has fish

if everyone had the very same, it d be a lot more boring.

But the Lib BC is causing a balance difference in players being in the houses, each house could have a BC and still keep their style.

In my opinion the Lib battlecruisers now are just what they are supposed to be. Their numbers could be slightly too great perhaps.

And this wouldn't happen to have anything to do with LNS-Freedom taking out about a dozen Rogue ships yesterday, would it?

thats not so easy ....

liberty has no pure cruiser for example - it has a siege cruiser ... and a battlecruiser, but nothing in between. - kusari has an enlarged gunboat destroyer - and i bet rheinland would love to have something as agile and small, too.

its not that easy to make just a battlecruiser for everyone. - a BC fits into liberty, cause they do not have a real cruiser.

I don't have experience with these kinds of ships, but maybe the stats are just a tad off for the LABC to properly fit into the game ballance

On a side note, Heavy fighters have started showing up again in gameplay, maybe each house should have a heavy fighter in addition to their VHFs

Of course not, i'm just pointing something out, this has absolutely nothing to do with me or the Rogues or anyone except the Battlecruiser.

Yeah, your definately right there, but the stats on the BC should be changed so that they are just slightly better than a Rheinland Cruisers or something like that.

I think the problem Not Amused is pointing on is the fact Liberty BC can take out (nearly) all cruisers in game if not piloted by someone who's first-time in cap. Meaning that noone else have equivalent oponent for it. (Well, BH BC)
