Summary

DynoXe International (DXI) is a Private Military Company serving as skilled fighters-for-hire and suppliers for most of Sirius. Some may call us "Mercenaries," But we find that a little disgraceful, and frankly rude. You might as well be comparing a rag-tag group of Rogues to an Outcast fleet. With the exception of the Mandalorians (Who we have the utmost respect for) Mercenaries are rough-cut and reckless men wandering around Sirius looking for a job. DynoXe is however a skillfully organized corporation with proven tactics and excellent strategies. DXI is also a supplier of military arms, parts, and materials, and is known for its ability to get the goods to the destination at any cost. DXI lives by a code of Strict Organization. Anything not written in the contract is not to be Done. This obviously is circumvented by the addition of a clause or two, but that is besides the point, and is sort of what establishes DXI apart from other Mercenaries. They also work on a policy of "None Of Our Business" (NOOB), and are not inclined to prevent illegal acts outside of Employer influences unless otherwise stated.

[color=#990000]Background

DynoXe International was founded in the early years of the 9th Century, by an Ex-VP of a Company doomed to failure. That man's name was Mattaki Seido, and even knowing the cause of the company's downfall, he let it fall. For in his mind, and in his namesake, there is the key ideal that anything without precise purpose is doomed to indecision, and ultimately failure. DynoXe was born from the ashes of that Company, and with it a new sense of leadership and integrity. However, not all went smoothly, and DXI was forced to call it quits for a couple years...

During this time Seido learned the power of Observation. He watched the Politicians cling at each other's throats, all under the guise of Friendship or Cooperation. He saw the Businessmen out making their profits all with the help of Careful Wording and Binding Contracts. Most importantly, he saw the world not as it is, but as it could be. He learned how to read people's intentions within only a sentence of their words. He realized how to see the potential conflicts of a sector, and then immediately go and turn a profit off it. He learned all the lessons that could've saved DXI in it's first bout of life, and even more.

This was all thrown into the ring during a night in Downtown Houston. Mattaki Seido had been spending a couple weeks there just as his latest stop on his "Observational Tour," and more of by instinct then for purpose he ended up running a small Security service, which usually entailed just random street thugs, put together to do work around the city. During a normal mop up operation contracted by some "Pharmacist," who happened to be selling drugs under the table, Seido's little group ran into some issues. It just so happened that there was another mob on the other side of the deal. Seido, being the opportunist that he is known to be, decided to feign as a fellow group hired by the same boss, and spent an hour or so settling in with them. He convinced them that they could handle this front entrance and that they should take care of the back. About half an hour later, an Alarm went off inside, and when the other group ran in, all there was to find was a disk and a note, reading "Sorry 'bout stealing the merchandise. This should be what you wanted after all anyways. ~" The contract was fulfilled, the money was in his pockets, and a few days later Evidence "surfaced" of the Pharmacist's illegal activities. All the work was settled, and Seido was getting ready to move onto his next stop...

Tired of Texas, and most of Liberty in general, Mattaki Seido moved up, towards the Kusari-controlled systems, Most notably New Tokyo. Being known for the notorious Yakuzas all over the planet probably influenced Seido's decision as well. Finding a group of ruffians was easy enough, but finding the RIGHT group was a different story. It was still a job easily within Seido's grasp, and the group taken over was competent enough to get the job done, but not arrogant enough to question orders. After a couple jobs running security and 'Ruffing up the Competition,' Seido's little Mercenaries were already blossoming. One of them was of special interest as well. A man named Calvin Sorlyn, with an uncanny ability to assess a situation immediately, and had maybe all of Sirius' knowledge inside his head. His advice had saved Seido's group from facing first criminal charges, and later on even Death. Sorlyn earned a special place up top with Seido, and became his right hand man early on. Seido would never work without Sorlyn there to advise him, and with the two sides of the coin their "Counter-Yakuza" would grab a good amount of spotlight, even if just locally.

One night at a bar, there sat Mattaki Seido and Calvin Sorlyn, two men of equal fame around the streets, and of equal respect. Both of them have had a couple drinks already, but that wasn't much considering the couple hours they had already been around. Eventually, the alcohol had gotten to Seido a bit however, and he began to reminisce on the Good 'Ol Days of DXI. The more he went on, the more interested and intrigued Sorlyn had gotten. At the end of it, Sorlyn had thought it was a Sales pitch or something, and started thinking of plans of it's rebirth on the spot. Seido was naturally a bit surprised at this, but became excited to hear about the revival. They spent the entire night there at that bar, drawing up plans on napkins and what not...

The next couple of weeks left the group Unfocused most of the time, as Seido and Sorlyn would be off drawing up scenarios and designs and plans for their upcoming project. By the time they had finished making the arrangements and provisions necessary, Seido's group had withered down to a few devote members. They weren't at all unhappy at the fact that Seido was disbanding the group, and leaving them to split the remaining cash. Seido and Sorlyn then proceeded to creating a reality out of their dreams. One week passed; DynoXe International was on it's way to approval with the Interstellar Incorporation Bureau (IIB), and a few spots had been selected for constructing an HQ. Two Weeks; DXI was Incorporated and recognized as it's own Private Military Company, and Seido's ship was currently being prepped for action. Sorlyn was having trouble picking one unique enough and configurable enough to meet his tinkering-needs. Three Weeks; An abandoned office building was bought and was currently being renovated to act as DXI's HQ. Sorlyn had finally found his ship, a Marauder, and was already messing with it. One Month after they set off to create DXI, There it was... A PMC already more promising than it's past-life. Tryouts had been set for a week later, and had already gained the attention of a prospect or two. Everything was going smoothly, and Sorlyn was made Commander of DXI's sole squadron, named Serpent Squadron. Everything from then on has been thanks to the efforts of these two men, and the now growing amounts of DXI's Elite Pilots, as if they had any other kinds of pilots anyways...

[color=#33CCFF]Structure

Being a corporation, DynoXe International is set up the way you'd find in any grand company. There are two Departments: Military and Supply.

----Director:
The Director oversees all internal and external affairs, and essentially controls the Company. Appoints the Department Execs and approves recommendations for new Squads and Trade Areas.

---Department Executives/Chiefs:
The Heads of the Departments take general orders from the Director, and help ensure that their respective Departments follow the common goals of the Company. The two Execs have joint authority in the absence of the Director.

Military Department

--Squad Commander:
Will usually be the CO in skirmishes. (unless the Military Exec. or the Director is present) Each squad leader has complete freedom on the way he trains and uses his squad. Naming, Organization, and Tactics will all be decided by the Commander. The squad may at any time be visited by the Exec/Director and asked to perform drills or tests to ensure top military efficiency.

-Squad Member/"Squadder"
Backbone of the Military Department. Listens to his respective Commander and attends scheduled drills. Can go after targets solo if any Officer is not present, or if he so desires. Can also group up with other "Squadders" to Improvise a squad if they are out-gunned. Where the "Mercenary" part comes from.

Supply Department

--Transit Manager:
Oversees the transit of arms and supplies to contracted bases. Works with the Supply Exec. to assign routes to Transports. Goes and scopes out the economic field for potential contracts and trading routes. Is in charge of collecting weekly data for the monthly Economic Report to the Executive. There is one Manager per Trade Route/Area.

-Trader/"Route Runner"
Gets assigned a route or a few to choose from, and fulfills our supply contracts. Reports to the Transit Manager if there is Piracy or if there is a disturbance stopping the Trader from completing his run. Makes weekly reports on ship and profit status.

[color=#33FF33]Recruitment

Pilots wishing to apply to DynoXe International may:
  • Visit their local DXI Recruitment Office.
  • Leave the required information on the DXI Recruitment Channel.
  • Send a Secure Private Message to The Neural Net Address.
Addendum: Pilots who are recommended by respected DXI Pilots will be formally asked by Director Seido himself to join DynoXe International.

[color=#99FFFF]Diplomacy

Being a hired company, DynoXe's Diplomacy is very dynamic., and dependent on the current contracts. However there are some set in stone policies concerning certain groups, and they are as follows:
  • -
  • [color=#FFCC66]Mandalorian Mercenaries -- As fellow 'mercenary' warriors, we will not under ANY circumstances fight a Mandalorian.
    -
  • House Militaries -- We are not permanent allies of any House forces, however any offenses against House forces (BAF, BPA, RFP, RM, KNF, KSP, LN, LPI) will be treated with scorn, and DXI will not hesitate to intervene if they ask.
    -
    -
  • Nomad's and Wilde -- Hostile to the utmost degree. Kill On Sight.
