Well, I was just doing some stuff over at UK, and saw a little bug in the NPC patrol paths in Hiroshima.

Patrol Botan 6 in Hiroshima flew through Kure Shipyard. Twice.

Not sure if anything can be done, but best to tell you anyways.

Liberty helmsmen have been smashing battleships into manhattan for years, I dont think anything will get done =P

Also, I figure that thousands, or even millions of Manhattan's inhabitants would die from those half-a-planet-sized ship wrecks falling through the atmosphere.:P

Yeah, guess so. It's just like the Dreadnaught patrols that constantly crash with Erie (spent a lot of time there while GC was down that week - thank god it's all fixed and working now).

I'm doing some modding at the moment, but it's mostly modelling and texturing, and only weapon/commodity INI's to be honest. So I'm not really sure about anything to do with patrol paths.

When the server is busy, maybe it's FLServer's way of freeing operations for players, and not NPC's. Make them randomly crash into friendly attributes. Nice.

This is a problem with the size of the ships.
NPC patrols are supposed to fly in small ships.

It's been a couple of years since I played Vanilla, but I think they used to have battleship patrols back then?

Maybe its a combination of the size, custom systems, and edited patrol paths from elsewhere.

No, they didn't have BS patrols, we are using AIs for NPC caps that were never designed to handle them so there are bound to be a few glitches.

Well the good aspect of this problem is that at worst it's only funny to see huge battleships crash on a planet.

I think it's worst for Igiss. Because a mod with npcs that are crashing on planets and stations don't look as good. (Personally I don't give a .. fecal matter ... about it)
