Ok so today I met a weapons dealer who was carrying nomad weapons, which was intended for research in another ship.
Anyways the weapons dealer was in fact also my superior in the LPI (I won't mention who), and he said that he's would've switched characters and order me to stand down and let his weapons dealer character to go ahead with the nomad weapons.
So my question is, what should I do?
1. Follow my superiors orders
2. Uphold the law of the land and make sure those weapons are destroyed
3. Kill my superior and the weapons dealer
The weapons dealer was apparently my superiors family member (in RP of course).
I'd say in any case seize the weapons and destroy the dealer if needed.
If another character is helping him, apprehend him as well.
Doesn't matter if Igiss is flying the char, if it's what needs to be done in-RP, you do it.
Had he say.. tried to solve the problem in-RP and offer you a bribe, you could take it if you want to RP that way. If you don't, noone can force you to.
You can RP him bribing you if you wish, but he cannot force you to RP how he wants. I'd call it a violation of server rules even the one about damaging server gameplay, not just faction rules. But in any case, I'm certain for the faction rules bit, not for the rules bit, as that particular rule is subject to interpretation and were this a sanction report I guess the admins'd discuss it extensively.
As for your senior officer flying that ship and abusing his position in OOC, I'd tell you to contact Zapp immediately and he will solve the problem.
Contact your faction leader. I know what I would have done in his place.

so the weapons dealer is NOT your superior.... in fact your superior does not know what you do, unless he finds out about it in RP. - the weaponsdealer is a totally different char. - mixing them is what one might spit out as "metagaming" of the worse case.
The dealer shouldn't of even said he/she had an LPI character that was a superior, because he/she was mixing the role-plays of two seperate characters. If the player knows anything about the server then he/she would know it shouldn't be done.
Report it to Zapp is all i'll say here, and see what he thinks.

ok no he didn't mix RP, we PM'ed each other, and he said that through the PM which was OORP, he never mixed chars.
Basically, after he switched to another char, I kinda guessed who he was, and I sent him a PM and saying it wasn't fair and what not, he said either way he would've switched chars and ordered me to stand down.

Well, I won't hide. In RP the Weapons dealer is Christian Bauer, Jack's brother. Now, Christian is basically a rich person who carries out scientific studies on stuff, nomad weapons being one of them. He flies a GB with all his scientific stuff etc.
Now, since Jack is a captain in the LPI, Christian could call favours from his brother. Since Jack knows what his brother does, Christian could ask Jack to tell the officer to stand down.
If you want me to stop RPing, I will happily stop. Hell, I'll even go destroy those weapons now if you want. Until then, I will continue to do what I do.
EDIT: The nomad weps are for RP only, they will not be mounted in anyway, shape or form nor sold to anyone. And yes, they are left over from 4.84.
Double edit: The way I see it, it was perfectly inRP to do so. I mean, who wouldn't call upon family members in certain positions to do a favour for them? If they weren't related in anyway, shape or form, I wouldn't do it.
