Tournament Approching!

I just had a really great Idea. I have created An Idea for a tournament.

There will be 6 teams:

Liberty
Brentonia
Kusari
Rheinland
Liberty Rouges
Bounty Hunters

Each team will have 20 points to spend and can be spend like this:

A light Fighter: 2 pts
A heavy Fighter: 3 pts
A gunboat: 8 pts

Only 1 gunboat can be chosen for each team and there must be at least 4 light fighters

Rheinland:
Wrath

Bounty Hunters:
Sea Serpent
Manta
Liberty GB

Guns; Light Fighter can use: 1 sheild buster gun or turret (civilian or tizona), 1 missle, the rest must be class nine or eight guns of the house or faction of the player.
Heavy Fighters can use: 1 sheild buster gun or turret, 2 missles, 2 codenames or nomad's, and the rest must be class 9 guns of the house or faction of the player.
Gunboats: They will use their DEFAULT loadout. Rouge GB will use 4 corsair GB turrets and 2 brentonia turrets. Both are found on the base which sells rouge GB.

There is going to be NO ARMOUR USED. I will hold all of the armour on Roddy and Rita durring the fights.
The only Torpedoe weapons allowed are; All CD's. Starkiller torpedo.

The tournament will be structured like this. Each team will fight all of the other teams. The scores will be recorded on a sheet that I will make and record each win or loss. The team with the Highest wins will win the tournament! Individual scores will be recorded and the best player from each team will receive a prize.

I ahve no decided on a prize or how I will make the winnings and the ammount. Im thinking of each team contributing 30 mil, the winning team will get the winnings from this, and the best players will receive cash from the admins or a larger portion of the winnings.

Now, If ya wanna take part, It will be next weekend on Saturday at 1 PST or -8GMT.

Been here since Discovery 4.77 (lurk mode engaged)

I have recently met and discussed with Atalawohisdi the trader that flies the Caribe. Just so everyone knows, I engaged in Sigma 13. He flies through half the system before going back to New Berlin, where he cruises from one side of the system to the other, hugging the sun as close as he can. All the while, he flies near Battleships trying to scrape me off. I finally send out the white flag, and move back to Sigma 13. However, it was a ruse, and he bit. Knowing his trade route, I interdicted the trade lane and the chase began anew. It ended, an hour after it began, with me retreating, out of Countermeasures and getting very irritated.

He kept boasting how he has never been caught; I'd like to see him beat until he begs to pay, then beaten some more.

Update: You can use ships or characters belonging to other factions of that team: ig BHG, SSO.

If you are not part of the faction, just put [] around the name of your team and your name of character

ie [Rouges]Wodgiss

You should select a character name that fits your background.

I will be joining the Rouges as captain.

I will gladly join your tournament. Its good to see this kind of stuff happening again. I will fly a LF for whoever but i may be biased to fly my manta for SSO. Anyway, I will check back in a few days and pick a spot.

Looks like fun, although it seems that there is just not enough time to organize around it. Although with over a week, I would predict that some would be able to make it.

Well, depending on the timings, put me down for a Bret LF or GB.

QV, Restricting the weapons is silly, I'm not changing my loadout for a tourney. My LF will still qualify, but my GB certainly won't. Loadouts are a player preference, and aside from restricting novas, shouldn't be dictated. Oh, and heavy fighters tend to use more than 1 shieldbuster, mine certainly do.
