New Wiki Element to Factions

I just started a series of updates on the wiki, just finished House Liberty's

I added a list of all ships from that House to their main page here http://discoveryfl.com/wiki/index.php?ti...y_Republic

I'll be working on the other houses, but this will take a while to put together


Basically this will give people quick access to ships belonging to each faction or house

Thanks for your work on the wiki.

I'm going to leave some comments on the discussion page. Until there has been some discussion please dont do further updates, as there my be a better way to present the information. This should really be discussed by multiple wiki editors before it is implemented as there are some other idea floating around about it.

I just added a simmilar section to Bretonia, however I will not make anymore until a better format for setting up the pages is figured out by the editors

Tazuras's ideas haven't turned up yet in the wiki talk page so I'll just make mine here. This is copied to teh Talk page.

The Idea I have for this kind of thing was to link people to put Liberty ships into the [Category: Liberty] page.

The problem we face is that there are MANY Liberty ships. Lawful and unlawful. Are we going to include the unlawful ships on the Liberty list as well?

Another problem is people perceptions of what they can use. Can LSF use LN ships? Can regular LN use top secret LSF ships? Can pirates use lawful ships and vice versa? Common sense says now, but if you list them on there, since they ARE liberty ships, then people will assume they can. Might not be as big a deal as I make it, but the wiki needs to be clear in it's information representation.

While I appreciate what you're trying to do, it needs further "kneeding".

well these are ships from/manufactured by the Liberty Government...

I've been thinking of how to deal with the unlawful ships.... we may have to group them with the Rogue and Molly faction pages....I'm not sure really


again, this list is ONLY for being able to access a single nationality/group of ships...not pointing out if the navy or police of lsf can use them


more work is really needed though

I think the best options would be to have the ships listed in the NPC/Player factions themselves.
Taking Liberty Republic as an example, it is inappropriate to mention only the lawful ones on that page. However it would be fully ok to have the relevant ships listed on the factions that are part of liberty.
Then lawful ships can go on lawful factions pages.
Unlawful ships can go on unlawful factions pages.
The factions can be linked (are already) from the Liberty Republic, with the factions nav down the bottom of the page.

Hey guys u r doing a great work.........Keep it up.
will you add some info about the each systems because some newly added & some old systems inforcards are blank, they need updates.

(When I join disco, I have learned so many things from wiki)
