Junker character

Right so i just started up a junker character. Does anyone know a good place to sell the scrap which is very much InRP. By the way i fly a CSV so it is not gonna make me much money anyway i just dont wanna sell the stuff for 50 credits.

Currently, the best place to salvage scrap is the Pittsburg debris field. 600 credits a unit, and if you're a junker you'll be able to fill up your ship pretty fast.

Excellent that is pretty close to rochester. So i will be based there i think, only thing i hate is the amount of OORP in that system always makes me feel strange when i actually actively RP there.

well if you want a more....er silent place to collect scrap, you can try the scrap field in Omega-15...but it's awfully far out of the way

scrap sells there for about 500 a piece...only 99 less than in New York

Thanks for the advice i will take it into consideration. The idea of my ship is through RP stories and ingame activity is to slowly build up enough funds to purchase a larger ship eventually going upto a Salvager. However as the only funds i have given it from my other chars were startup funds, this will take a lot of time.

So i am looking forward to seeing you all in space while i am collecting scrap.

The best price for scrap is definitely on Planet Pittsburg, and yes Rochester Base is nearby, but seriously, that's not all that in-RP. To stay in RP, I recommend making your way over to Omega 15, and head south down to Bornholm Depot. They pay $500 per unit there, and you can mine right outside of the base. So it's really quick to mine, dock, undock, repeat!

Why is that not in-RP? It seems like perfectly good junker actions to me.

Good places to sell scrap are Planet Pittsburgh, due to the ALG cleanup event which is good cover-up RP of sorts , Culebra Smelter which probably only has a higher price cause its in RP to be so and Bornholm Depot, where the price has been artificially inflated cause *gets strangled*.

Well Pittsburg makes more cash which when you are in a CSV really does count it is an extra 20k from 90k to 110k so i am going to base myself out of rochester in my RP. I am then going to RP having my ship 'upgraded' to a CSF. So in RP it will be the same ride which has just had new parts fitted junker style. Does this seem reasonable to you all?

I will then mine scrap near pittsburg and take it there until i have enough for a salavager. InRP pittsburg is a rather good place for a low level Junker i think at least personally.

Also i am wanting to know anything else a Junker gets the mining bonus for except scrap metal?
