Dealing with Liberty

Well it seems that the most common reason cited to me for inactivity amongst my Rogues is that they can't get anything done without being punched by capship fleets. Having pointed this out the general response has been deal with it. So that's what I intend to do. Given the LR ID allows any and all ship classes, the LR is commisioning a new flagship. A big one. Also new funboats will be added to the roster. For regular duties we will be sticking to the fighter's/bomber's we normally use. But don't be surprised to find heavy support hanging far enough away to support the little guys. You have been warned. There is no discussion on this. It is happening. To quote a few of you. Deal with it.

I must say that...this was never the answer to the gankings of my fellow rogues. Sure, while we use bombers mainly, we are always attacked by superior forces not only in size but in equippment and training.

The so called Flagship of the LR- the Nonsence Factory was never made. It was supposed to be a Outcast Battleship flying under our colors yet it never was made.

Currently we have only two flagships.

LR-I.Blame.My.Mother
LR-I.Blame.Your.Mother

These two are only undocked not to be effected by the playerwhipe. Recently, the fact that most people in Liberty enjoy to ram unlawful capital ships proved that there is no reason for the LR- to maintain large ships both in RP and out of RP.


Sadly, it seems it is now repeating itself.

People do not want to undock to a carrier camping the Whitney icefield. While I know the LN do their best to restrict the use of LNS flagships to hunt smaller craft, there are people who are not and will not be under their control.

Player inactivity, simply many are fed up to die all the time they undock to enjoy the game.




This is just a post to remind that things go in a cycle. While I could muster to undock 15 barghests a few months ago, people are growing tired of this crap right now.


Think of the person who you are shooting, think of them just once. Unless, like me, you really want them to feel the utter suffering of knowing they are outgunned, outranked, destined to die without backup against a mass of enemies, restrain yourself.

I have never seen any LR- player faction capital ships before, but I see LNS ones everyday.

Give it a rest guys, come fight us properly, and not at our bases (which are secret!).

Problem is it is in RP for them to have maaaaaaaaaaany caps. We are just pirates, we have flimsy tech. We should have numbers tho. Which we have, in a way, there are more unlawful players in Liberty then Lawful ones.

I agree with this post most definitely. While on my indy characters i have seen you being outmatched... i will say even though another word comes to mind.

It makes me sad to see it sometimes. So remember what the guy said it is only a blue message. I don't know maybe get a fighter or bomber to combat ships of thier class? Just a thought.

Meh , to be honest , I pity you guys somewhat , operating mainly in the hellhole that is Liberty. Liberty has so much potential , but its swarming with so many retards that it just looses its fun. I already deleted : 1 LR Werewolf , 1 LR Gunboat , 1 LR Barghest and 1 LR Hyena. Why ? Cause I kept getting swarmed by LNS lolcaps wherever I went.

Heck , just this morning I was on the field near pittsburgh with my new character ( *cough* shameless advertising *cough*) and as soon as I tried to tax a guy for 100k on my Kingfisher , one loLBAC showed up.

But what can I say , quoting Yahtzee: "People are ****. You are **** , I am **** , everyone is ****". I guess all we can do is "Deal with it" ...

I can feel with you with this issue.

Rheinland had a similar problem with the RNC guys some time ago.
That was the time when guys PMed me "Hell Liberty is quiet now, seems the caps are all coming your way"

Now I am sitting in a Fighter Bomber GB only house again.
Bigger ships are only pulled out to RP or answer to other battleships or bigger ones in a proper RP term.

I bet we have another month or so, until we suddenly get big ships spoiling the fun again.
Then its liberties turn again to enjoy their fighters.

There is no task we cannot accomplish with proper RP. If they show up and make trouble, get out your bombers. Hunt them, track them down, show them what it means to play a role.

Just think of some reason to get them, I bet most of you are skilled enough to do so. I will get my Hessian bomber out, if I encounter coptering lolcaps in Rheinland, the Hessian fellows will be with me.
Same thing with unlawful capitals: the RM is strong enough to encounter them with a proper force.

What is up in Liberty? Get you fellow LR with Barghests and blast them away. You will have four hours of peace then, hopefully.
