After entering New York today I discovered something, a strange blue vessel maybe ten metres long. Its mottled hull was quite pretty to the eyes.
For a while I attempted to establish dialog with the being but had no luck, not long after another of its kind arrived. The two circled and studied my vessel as I did the same to them while still attempting contact, their responses seemed to come from inside my head and made little sense. But they demonstrated none of the hostility I was told to expect from the other inhabitants of New York at the time.
I continued on after about twenty minutes entirely unmolested by these Nomads as I learnt they were called. Despite the constant accusations of others they demonstrated none of the overtly hostile nature I was told they possess but more a childlike curiosity and thirst for learning.
The one thing I managed to get solidly was their reference to me as the "deadferry" a most accurate observation.
Not long after that I discovered another pair of different ones. They seemed older, more mature, they lacked the crude grafted weapons of the previous two and seemed far more developed. I again attempted to establish dialog, I must have been there a good half an hour.
The only aggression I ever saw from the beautiful, elegant creatures who danced around my hull was witnessed, not as a random act of aggression, not against me, but as a DIRECT response to being fired upon.
In that time I saw it happen THREE times, the Nomads simply flew around my vessel like dancers curious about something until they were fired upon with which they answered with total force and no mercy.
In all counts they were the victims of an attack by another party to which they responded with total force. I was fortunate to get some imagery of the Nomads.
I reiterate. Not once in TWO lengthy encounters with them did I witness even a single hint or act of aggression against me.
People see or hear a Nomad and go on an instant and total witch-hunt. You don't converse, you don't negotiate, you don't even just monitor to see what they're doing. You attack without provocation, and in those cases where I can collect your bodies from them or the battlefield before they get it I will return your bodies home but knowing full well that you deserved your fate at their hands.

I'm taking the liberty of attaching this message to the ++Tombship++'s original transmission.
Nomads are known to be a mindless, aggressive race of bio-constructs whose sole purpose appears to be defending the remnants of their masters' civilization and attempting to purge Sirius of all human intrusion. All attempts to communicate with these bio-constructs have met with failure, and in most cases, ended in violence. The Liberty government strongly encourages all pilots to immediately report nomad sightings to the authorities, and to not come within 4k of nomad ships.
Reminder: possession of nomad remains, equipment, or other paraphernalia is strictly prohibited and unauthorized transport of said material will be met with extreme force if necessary.

Message: A known fact hmm? Either you have me entirely mistaken with someone else or are delusional, pray tell what would an Order Agent be doing amongst a Swarm of Nomads without trying to kill them?
As such I am forced to come to the conclusion you have me entirely mistaken with someone else or you are corrupt and attempting to falsify evidence, now I would be more than happy to discuss this with you in person but i can assure you those images will not be destroyed and they will remain avaliable for public viewing along with any other imagery i come across in my efforts to return the slain to their families.
And it should be noted that I have returned Liberty Police and Navy bodies to their families in New York itself and in fact DID return the bodies of those officers who lost their lives attacking the Nomads in those images. Just the same as I would make an effort to return Nomad bodies to their people or any other individuals who have the misfortune to end up as guests aboard my ship in my quest to return the dead to their people.
My only affiliation is with the Zoners though I would return Order bodies to their people as I would any and all peoples.
Do note that I only transport the dead so you can't even accuse me of returning enemies of Liberty to their people.
If you wish to continue these baseless accusations I will be forced to sue.
Also do note that communications with any of your so-called enemies are of no evidence to you either as I have the same communications with any and all parties in Sirius, including should it come to it your own.

Our ship's computer specialist has rigged a device that can roughly 'translate' what Nomads are saying. All we did that for was to avoid destruction by understanding what they are saying. My crew finds Nomads to be misunderstood after several uses of the device, except for our medic, Chris Spence. He still hates them for an incident in the Omicron systems which left him desperate for work and on the Bishop's Green, a Freelancer transport. But still, we don't attack Nomads because they don't usually attack us. Not that there are any Nomad-infected on our ship, it's just that we're partly the kind who embrace alien civilizations and other new things. But not Cardamine.
I hate to burst your bubble, LSF (not really), but the ancient ones are actually quite peaceful if you don't try to kill them. As a matter of fact, they can provide excellent company.
