In my nine months of being here I have had built up a large sum of credits. Now, I'm sick of trading and mining and I'd like to buy a ship that is versatile. I want to buy a ship that can go most places, defend itself and look good at the same time. I only have the one character and I will be playing it almost everyday. Please give me some suggestions as to what to buy as I am rather lost. Please note: I don't want any capital ships.

Cheers Bear.

Salvager: looks brilliant, Junkers can go almost everywhere (except kusari), and has gunboat weapons with 3600 cargo

don't try buying it without being a junker though...

it's 107 mil , and 130 mill will outfit it nicely

Thank you, but not being able to go into Kusari could be a problem as I would like to travel and visit remote systems and meet alot of people. Taking an entire house away from that really doesn't sit with me. Thanks for your suggestion.

I bought the Salvager for my technology-loving freak Dean Kadwell just yesterday. NerdRage is right: this ship as really awesome. Invest some more funds into some good armour upgrade.

And by the way: is there some evil rep-ninja active, when you are a Junker? Namely Kusari lawfuls?:P

i can say the salvager is really brilliant, sometimes i fly around in turret mode and just look at the beauty of the ship. it has so many nice details, whenever you look at it closely you think you just something new you havent spotted before it is one of the best if not the best ship model in the game.

other than that how about a luxury or royal liner flying unde spa and cruise flag. you can go wherevery you want, it just depends how much your passengers are willing to pay for the trip, the ships can defend themselves very good once you get used to them and you still can make some decent money while having fun rping. i wouldnt advise flying through kusari with the bretonian royal liner though, the kusarians might not receive your visit too well, but with the ordinary luxury liner you are pretty much able to roam around freely.

another ship that could suite you is the armored transport, its a brilliant little ship that can be rped to be used for nearly everything. its small and agile for a transport and can mount the 100k transport shield and has a lot of firepower, with the right armor kit you wont have to be afraid of being pushed around by other ships. you can fly around and rp really anything from a trader over scientist and explorer up to a private person who just likes the protection of the ship on his adventures.

Buy a cruiser from a faction with minimum ID limitations. Go learn the faction RP and add y our own RP in a way that it allows you to move around freely (THIS IS A TRAP though if you dont be careful so be careful with your rp)

Also, remember to create a crew for your big ship. A capital ship saying "hello" looks... interesting.

Buy a bomber. Those things can kill people...

The BD one is very nice, as is the FA one.

How bout a Nyx? IMG's mostly neutral, so few problems exploring.

I recommend buying a zoner gunboat, and exploring. Zoners are neutral to all humans, and can go just about everywhere.

Come on! Be free!

The Zoner Corvo Cruiser would fit your needs very well.
Even though you stated you don't want capital ships..
