So where did you hear about freelancer from? And disco?

My freind found the game one day and showed it to me.
Got it first chance I got :D

Then a little while later, the same freind showed me the mod, and I got that too.

So after taking a break for about a year I've decided to get back in to Disco. So yeah.

I think I found out about Freelancer for the first time when looking at walkthroughs for other games that I didn't have.

EDIT: I heard about Discovery when I read about it in PC Gamer UK magazine, it being rated the best out of a selection of Freelancer mods.

Well first, there's at least 2 other threads like this.:P

And me? Well, my brother won Freelancer Gold Edition as a prize on a magazine internet game, even before it actually went out into real sales. It was a copy that was given to the magazine for a preview article, and we won it.
Fell in love with the game at first sight, heh. Always loved playing it since, passed SP for a monstrous amount of times, and one day found out about Disco and here I am.

I got starwars empire at war and the expansion (forces of corruption) and decided to join a clan for it which ended up being Bs|. Bs| also supports other games, freelancer (and the disco mod) being one of them. I tried the demo, got really into it, then got the game followed by the mod. And here I am.

Played and loved Starlancer, found out Freelancer was the sequel, tracked down a copy from my uncle (who hated the game) Played it, went looking for mods, disco caught my eye.

We got an *ahem* copy before it was released in UK. Instant convert & its harder than cigarettes to give up. Have legit copy right now.
I heard about Discovery when I was playing on Void, liked the idea & have been here ever since. I have tried other mods, but Disco is the best.

So a big thumbs up to Admin & Developers. :yahoo:

I have been around freelancer since the very early days. My dad came home from work randomly with a present for me in Jul 2003 (4 months after FL came out) I would have been 14 at the time just about to turn 15, that really does seem like a lifetime ago. I was hooked instantly (much to my fathers annoyance:D).

Have played it loads on and off over the years. Just in the last few months I came back to FL went to see which server was the busiest and came straight here. And now your stuck with me.:D

A friend mentioned Freelancer was a pretty good space game, and since I was looking for one at the time I tracked down a copy. As for Discovery, I found it looking for mods.
