When I am on my bomber and shooting my SNAC, sometimes the energy bar does not appear to reduce, but it really does reduce. This makes it hard to shoot with the SNAC when I don't know if I can shoot it at that moment or not...

Then you can fire your snac!
I believe Dark is saying that the yellow bar does not move when he fires his SNAC, and that as a result of this he does not know when there is enough energy to fire it again.
I have that problem as well and I have founded out that in battles, the best way to prevent it is to not be hasty with the shooting.
Let me explain. Taking the Falcata as an example:
Let us assume you just fired the SN and you are currently recharging. It needs to be approximately around 3 1/2 bars from full energy, that is the lowest limit the Falcata can use to fire the Supernova again. To guarantee yourself you don't get this bug in battles, wait until at least 1 more energy bar than the lowest limit your specific bomber can take with the Supernova, and then fire after that point is reached in your energy bar. It is very easy to check exactly how many energy bars the Supernova eats when you fire it, by just... firing and checking. (Duh.)
How to know when you received this "Supernova Energy Bug":
You click on fire, the Supernova dosen't come out and you don't seem to be loosing energy. This is true! You don't loose any energy! But the game thinks you have fired the Supernova, so you have to wait for the recharge-time of the Supernova Refire Rate, it is not about "hidden energy waste." If you want confirmation just try receiving the bug and then immediately after start shooting Mini Razors and your Guns, they should still work to their full capacity.
If you by any mistake accidentally get the Supernova Energy Bug you must treat it like you had just fire it and are currently waiting for it to re-load, clicking furiously ten times more on the right mouse (or whatever firing key you got) won't really help you.
