Well im not gonna rant on about how this would be a good or bad idea. I'l leave you guys to ponder yourselves. Just since it's not just players being exiled now from the outcasts it's whole factions such as the [RA] and i think the XTF (For aiding the RA) wouldn't it minimise confusion and add a bit more roleplay?

its really rather a special RP. - not every modification can have its own ID. - we d end up with a "roleplayer ID" - where everyone interpretes his roleplay differently.

people almost always want to be special. - for that - people are often not happy with an archetype role - so they try to break out of the limitations of a faction and form a new one.

these people would only be happy with the new faction if it was "exclusive" - if such a faction was "public" - these very players would soon move on to form something "new" again.




you can see that on our rather "exclusive factions" that come in two different versions. - open application but exclusive ( no non-factionized players ) and invite only. - people mostly like these exclusive "clubs" for being special. - they would be less attractive if they were open to everyone. ( perceived by both, those inside the faction and those that gravitate to these factions )

Outcast outcasts should swap to Pirate IDs. Easy enough, problem solved.

Pirate ID's.

How a group of exiled outcasts could keep a fleet of capital ships in space is something I can't understand, so the restrictions of the ID work too.
The exiles are without the support of their factions, otherwise they would not be exiles.
An example is the QCP. They can no longer get Bretonian ships so they get civilian ones now.

Bad idea - There is no need for an outcast exile ID. If you did that almost every faction that is military based would need one. As was said before a simple pirate ID would work fine.

Look guys, try not to bring faction and player names into stuff like this. It can lead to a rant/ trial by forums/ flame.
It could also upset the players behind the screen;)
