This /removebase command involves the user doing the following:
/removebase Manhattan
What that does is remove the infocard, and trade details of Planet Manhattan.
The reasoning behind this base is that on Edison Trent character, I have almost mapped out most of and if not more, all of Disco space save for Gallia and Guard systems. But this isn't the point.
The point is, the traders or RP'ers trade routes and Navigation Map becomes OORP in its own little sense, and I hate scrolling all the way through my trade list to see which in-RP route I can undertake for some profit.
I don't know if this command is necessary, but its and idea I want to throw out there.

I want.
/signed.
That is the desired effect of this command.
As far as my limited knowledge goes, it would just reset the planet/base visited to: "no" instead of "yes". Off course, I am no manual modder of this game.
Frankly said...I don't really see this as really useful, and doubt it's worth the effort. If the navmap bothers you, don't look at it >_> . There are so many ooRP things in Disco, and the navmap is the least of them to be worried about...
I actually like this idea.
It could certainly come in handy, I think. I'd like it if we had this, but there might be more important things for Cannon to work on.

As far as i got it, its not just about the 'navmap'.... it is that if you have a trader char.... operating first as say DSI... but later your RP story evolves and you become a DHC trader.... you would basicly get a new trading list with the new ship, but seen as you upgrade from your old char, you still would have all the liberty station entries.... which makes it sometimes really hard to scroll through all the entries to figure out a good rheinland trade run...
With that command, you could easily remove all entry belonging to Liberty from that list.
If you have the systems then still mapped or not isnt important.... its about getting a 'cleaner' list for the commodities and were you can sell what for what prices.
I know what you mean. When I played Freelancer Vanilla, making my between-missions money as a lawful trader (my third time through the game), I hated seeing that Lane Hacker base as the "best price available" for everything, since it's not any place I could dock at.
Now, on the RP server, this becomes even more irritating.
I know there are other things more important that this can be worked on, this is just a concept idea I am unsure if its even possible, since I'm no modder.
Its just there are... wait how many bases are there in the game? Can you imagine trading with those on one list without using Freelancer community aid programs like DS, Stat and Companion?
Not everyone has those programs I'd expect. But that is my defence for the program.
