I'm awful at it. Just terrible.

I'd like some suggestions on what type of character to make (indie) and where to hang out where I can get plenty of good ol' shootin' (in a fighter) whenever I like without having to look very hard to find it.

Navy or Police in Liberty for sure. Typical day there is deadly.

You could try being an Outcast. Everyone wants us dead, apparently. Corsairs, Colonials, Corsairs, GMG, Corsairs, Bounty Hunters, there's really a lot of Corsairs, Order indies once in a while...

And unlike going with a Liberty lawful, there's still a few places you can go as a refuge from the idiots. Sigma-17 and Sigma-19 are, in my experience, relatively free of inane lolwuttery, and Tau-23 isn't bad usually.

There's a full fighter shipline available to you - Scimitar LF, Switchblade HF, and Sabre VHF - and you can also use civilian ships without much criticism.

And honestly, we could really use more fighter pilots and more people that RP.
