Business was good, and thats how Tex liked it.

He could see the usual gaggle of Liberty Rogue pilots cow-tow'n to a small contingent of Outcasts. The rest of the crowd were indeterminate IDs, mostly people who would rather not be known.

Everything looked as it should, so Tex continued back behind the bar and kitchen to a small alcove. Tex was looking for Mack, a fellow Junker, he needed to talk to a friend. Tex had witnessed some strange activity in Colorado from the small group of Xenos there. Normally Junkers had little trouble doing business in Colorado but of late it seemed the Xenos where improving their tactics and more dangerously, their hardware. Though some Junkers might be seen as simple minded or slow, a good Junker knows everything that happens in Liberty. And so when Tex put the squeeze on a particularly dingy Liberty Police officer, he learned of the Xeno Warlord known only as "Prospector", who was apparently terrorizing northern Liberty, some parts of California and even up in Kusari space.

"You expect me to believe them poor lil saps got themselves a Gunboat? Boah, if I had a rubba hose, I would beat some sense into ya. Xenos aint got da cash fo waad bodies."

"No, no, this one's different, they say he made some sort of deal with the Rogues...The ROGUES of all people!"

"Go own, git, ah herd enuff you ignorunt peewee."

But it turned out the police officer was right. One look at Anderus's ship and his bloody face was all it took.

Junker turf was in danger, and it was time to act.

Ferdimond steped through the airlock, quickly ajusting his helmet to make sure any oxygen wasn't leaking in.

"Ahhh, beaumont, I love this place. Corporal!"

"Yessir?" Said anotehr Helghast

"Get me a spot in that bar, the one with the best lager. After the raid I am feeling a little parched."

"Ayesir." And the corporal walked off.

Two Junkers came to meet him. "Gun Commander Ferdimond! Its good to see you here. The dock master said you were bearthed."

"I just came it. I struck an SA patrol fleet today. A frigate which was quickly annihilated and a few fighters. I managed to board the firgate as it died and we captured around fiftey Navy Crewmen and libertated some Rogue, Junker and Outcast pilots."

"Good to hear it, are the prisoners in the brig?" Said the second junker

"Yeah, do what you want, I'll give em to you if you make sure my ship is up to scratch by the time I launch."

"You got it, Commander, They'll be put to work in the smelter, adn tehn mabey shipped to Peurto Rico to mine H-fuel."

"They deserve every hardship we dish out. Now, Im off to get a drink."

The two Junkers walked onto the 'Vengence' frist making sure they had oxygen tanks and masks. Ferdimond walked along the wide hallway to the main section, where all the shops, and bars were located.

He turned left a few times then a right and then down a ladder to a dim-lit hallway. Ahead was the sign for 'The Leaky Pilsner'. His Corporal was waiting.

Despite being on of the most run-down of all the bars in the Sirius Sector, it was one of the best run. Ferdimond sat at booth away from the window. Two of his officers and a Junker wearing an oxygen tank followed him and sat down.

The booth sealed itself in with a clear plastic bubble and a sligh hiss was heard. This was the cue and Ferdimond took of his helmet and breathed deeply. The oxygen had been replaced by the 'Helghan Air' as it was commonly known to the Sirius Undwerworld.

Ferdimond put a coin into a slot and seletecd his drink, and soon from a hole in the wall, a mug full of dark Lager appeared. He then took out a map of Liberty Space.

"To buisness, we have several threats, both form the police and from the xenos in the north. What do you suggest we do?"

ooc: all other memebrs of the Bar are welcome to join in the discussion of tactics and strategy with Ferdimond.

The sound of Ride of the Valkyries fills the station, and out the bar window 3 wraths and 2 sabres are flying in chevron formation straight towards the duraplex glass.

Everyone runs out of the bar, and then all you can hear is maniacal laughter:

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, Dames we are HOME!!! in a figurative sense, i didnt have fuel to go to Kreigzburg, hee hee, well, come on open the hangar bay doors!"

Grand Admiral Olsav has graced Beaumont with his presence.

In marches Olsav, side arm strapped to his side, laughing joking with his wing, still wearing his Rheinlander uniform, as are his 2 wingmen, Model and Kozanecki.

"Look boys, Ferdi is here, barkeep, We'll take a round of the cheapest pony piss you have on tap, that being pretty much all of it ha ha."

Olsav and his two mates go over to Ferdimonds table, eager to remove their helghan gas masks, the others Condrado and Razor bringing up the rear have to go refit the fighters, promising to return for a pint in a bit.

"So Ferdi, whats your idea? God knows my plans haven't been working that well, cap ships really are needed in this conflict"

Tex was back in his Eagle, 'a workin man's bird,' he would call it. Though the ship itself hardly resembled what came off the assembly lines at DSE, heavy modifications to weaponry and armor gave the ship a decidedly uncivilized look.

Tex had decided the day before to verify for himself the claims of new Xeno firepower in Colorado so he had found his favorite hiding spot 12k out from Ouray and powered down. Earlier on Tex had contacted the Reinlander Olsav, just incase he needed some back up.

With the occasional manual thrust to avoid tumbling house-sized boulders, Tex watched his passive emissions scope for signs of the Prospector. It took several minutes of staring at what seemed to be nothing before Tex switched to an infrared scope mounted in his helmet. There, hugging the Ouray mega-bolder like it was a wort on mommas face, was a fighter, a heavy one by the looks of it. Not moving, no emissions, but no one parks their fighter like that unless they're on the hunt...

"There you are you bugger."

Tex eased his Eagle in closer for a passive scan on the fighter, but just before he reached optimal range Ouray had spun it oposite side towards Tex.

"on the next pass then."

Tex watched the boulder slowly show its far side, then come back to the original side, only this time the fighter was gone.

"Sunofabuscuit, ward u go?"

"BSHHHHH, TEX, THIS IS OLSAV, WHERE'S OURAY?"

"awww jesus keeeri.."

Tex didn't have time to finish his explative, Prospectors heavy fighter buzzed inches past Tex's canopy, blinding Tex's eye's (magnified by the infrared viewer,) momentarily from engine wash.

"Junker vessel, leave now."

"TARNATION!"

Tex leaned hard on his afterburner and peeled out of Prospectors firing arc, still blinking myopicly and seeing spots.

"Olsav come to my signal, cats outta the bag now!"

Sid: "We need cash fast, I had to mortgage everything I own to pay for some new equipment. I got a line on some easy cargo runnin we can do to pay it off."

Tex: "Ah guess the Prospector will have to wait then."

Gun Commander Ferdimond sat in his booth in the Plisner. He sat Drinking his lager and contemplating his next target. He had a choice, he could go and steal the Kishiro Arms heading to Rheinland, the Republican Diamonds headed for Kusari, or the Bowex MOX headed to Kusari.

It all paid well in the end but it was the pleasure that he enjoyed. The 'Vengences' advanced comm ahcking equipment allowed the screams of the dying true humans to be broadcasted in the gunboats bridge for all to hear and enjoy.

He was just begining to enjoy his drink when a Subordinate walked up to him;
His body guard stood, ready to shoo him away but Ferdimond signaled to allow him to stay.

"Corporal, what do you want?"

It's the Kusari Naval Forces Sir, I have been told by the Comms officer Lord Solar Admiral Verginix has ordered us to Move to Yanagi. He needs us in the coming fight. The KNF have already destroyed many of our fighter wings with their missile Barages and reinforcements are needed.

"That fool of an Admiral! He throws our vauable troops away like prisoners out an airlock! And now he wants his raiders to move to become cannon fodder in a war of Atrition? Give me time corporal."

"Gun Commander, I have been told Verginix needs you to leave right away."

Ferdimond Looked up.

"I am in no Hurry, corporal. And If the Lord Solar Admiral Begs and pleads, I will take longer!

"Verginix won't be happy, sir"

"I am not happy, guard."

The Corporal turned to leave when Ferdimonds Bodyguard grabbed him and shoved him into the booths airlock. Flicking a switch, the 'helghan air' in the airlock emptied, to be replaced by true air. The Helghast gasped and choked, grasping at the door to the Helghast section of the bar, and soon he fell and slumped.

The other Junkers stared wairly at Ferdimond as he left the Plisner, safly behind his mask, walking briskly to the docking point where the Vengence waited for launch.

ooc: About Ferdimonds bodyguard, I took the picture for my sig image and the pictures in the bar and realised the same guy was standing in the background for both of them, so it worked out nicely

The Botany Bay eases into bay 2 of Beaumont Base. Her captain and first mate disembark chatting idly and head for the bar.

Billy: "Tex, you sure we should be selling arms to the IMG? I mean, they're almost at war with the Outcasts now aren't they?"

Tex: "You let me worry about that boah. Figgerin the boatloads of cardi we ship inta Liberty they can't really complain."

Billy: "So when are you gonna let me fly the Collector? You've been babying over it for a week now."

Tex: "It still ain't ready. Some fine toonin to do to it."

Billy: "Did you have to make it so ugly?"

Tex: "Shuddup, if ah wasn't in such a good mood I'd beat you like you momma used tah!"

~The tractor trailer pulls up in Beaumont's equipment/repair shop, a scored and battle-marked Eagle in Tow. Behind it walks the owner, Scrapper John. He is looking for the chief of the repair shop, Bob Tate, a gruff veteran whom everyone calls "Horace", although no one can remember why~

~Suddenly John hears Horace's voice booming from somewhere in back~

"AAAWWWW you billygoat! You don't machine an impellor blade like that.... aaarrgh it's horrible!"

~John suppresses a laugh~

"Yo Horace! Just came in from Yanagi. Copped a hellava pounding, and some rad damage cutting through Kepler."

~Horace stalks up, and runs his finger and an experienced eye over the various damage points on the Eagle~

"Yep. All right, I'll get it done. Should take about an hour or....."

~Horace is suddenly distracted by some noob at a piece of machinary; he rushes over, hands outstretched~

".... NOOO! Whadaya doing?? Not like tha--aaarrrrgh, you dunderhead!"

~John decides to to leave well enough alone and find the bar~
