What happens if you want to change your ID ie for a corporate trader to another corp and your former ID made you hostile to some of the bases in the area.

It should change your rep according to the new ID and if not why doesn't it?

New character, every time. You'l eventually see that it's faster than reassigning your character every time you want to do something else.

However if it's on a RP basis then i'd go and look for bribes for that faction's allies. Then for the faction itself.

I personally find it better to only have the bases that your faction would logically dock on mapped on my trader, it prevents you from having OORP urges.


And if the new faction is hostile to the old one, I'm pretty sure that there will be a load of bases you can't go to anymore.

I think I'll have the same issue when it comes time to raise my order guard rep on my LN ship.. (if that happens)

ID's these days will often ninjarep hostile factions to red, but generally don't (as far as I know for publicly-available ID's) make you friendly with anyone.

This is especially true for pirate factions.

As stated above, you will either have to bribe or shoot or mission your way to a new IFF, or get a new character.
