I don't know specifically what the problem with the Kusari battleship is. But the going theory seems to be that one or more of its 'fins' stick out of the sheild box, giving enemies an unsheilded target to exploit.
SiD tells me there are other mods out there that have corrected this problem by modifying the Kus BS's hit box? or something else.

Could we address this problem some how?
Perhaps we should test the "going" theory in depth, at your convenience.
I'll wake the Slumber King up.. he'll just have to deal with it.
if i rember the mod corectly it was evo and the kussri bs had a bug that was form vennla, of corce the wepon people use on it had a very large blast raidus as i rember. what would happen is if u hit the fins the ship would go boom.
with shids down i think, possbly up. has someing to do with the muttlipule ship sections and the fins conecting throuhg the main hull section.
Interesting LOL im going to have to try this for my self:PHAHA lol

As Sid said, it may be a sub-section problem. As we all know, if a missile, or something with a bit of an explosion, hits between sub-sections it can rip a normal ship apart in one shot. If the Kusari BS has the fins and main hull attached, that may well be the bug in question. I would advise using missiles or something that explodes to test the BS when its sheilds are down. I can't think of any HUGE weapons that explode, however, so it may be ok.
Looks like you're talking about a similar problem like the Osiris has, when we had the Mortars explosive, one was enough to destroy it if it hit the middle of the ship. Many Vanilla ships have that 'problem'.
(Hmm, do I know where the Titan's weak spot is?)

I know what you mean, I got hit by a pair of flak shells in the middle part on my Osiris and lost like 35-40% hull.
