Well earelier I encountered this guy, outcast with corsair iff. And he pirated me when I RPed with him as if he was corsair (never scanned him) and he kept on babbling on about cadiz. While the amount demanded was reasonable and we eventually struck a deal, thats not the issue here... seriously. Outcast in corsair IFF? Arnt they like sworn enemies? And what the hell is he doing so far south anyway?
No, this aint trial by forum, just asking if anythings wrong. If not Imma gona get my liberty navy rogue iff.

EDIT:Sorry, got the person wrong. Lets just say it was a very awkward encounter.

So... what do I do with this guy? He won't return the 2mil but thats allright, I don't want him sanctioned also, the game needs more reasonable pirates and less 10milordais. However he wouldn't talk about it and refused to acknowledge when I talked to him oorp after the encounter. He was just sitting outside the hessan base and I would NOT have proceeded wih my route had I known he was not a corsair. And he made me look like an idiot with me babbling on about bringing food to corsairs.

Uh... Question.

If you never scanned him, he had a Corsair IFF, he was talking about Cadiz (a Corsair base, if memory serves), and he was however far south...

Why are you saying he was an Outcast?

1) Please don't throw names out on the forums or call people out. Doing this leads to a thing called "trial by forum" (generally something that ends with the person mentioned being unhappy).

2) I know this person, I was just RPing with him moments ago and he has always had a Corsair IFF and ID. What you ran into is a something called an IFF glitch where it appears someone has a strange (usually random) IFF when, in actuality, they have something else.

3) Remove his name from the topic description, please.

Sometimes I really wonder if I should bother explaining this.

The character in question had all of his honor stripped from him when his father disgraced his family. He was sold off as an indentured servant to a Crete Corsair... Lacking any prestege of any kind, he was basically as bad off as he could be on Crete. Leaving out most of the details in the middle, he eventually got out of that, and self-exiled himself to Cadiz.

Just cause he says he doesn't care if you kill the Corsairs on Crete (by cutting off their food supplies) , doesn't make him an Outcast....Just a very solemn Corsair...a Cadiz Corsair mind you. MOX bomb Crete for all he cares, Cadiz is all that matters to him...well that and a particular lady...but that's another story.

Also, enough of you shipping blood diamonds through Corsair space.
Besides, you didn't even pay the amount he asked for :P
