Well, were always looking for ways to improve RP and gamepley. Here's a brainwave i had on the bus earlier. Yano when ya dock or when ya undock and you got that lovely lady saying your alright to leave or land?
Well why can't we alter that according to the ID? Make a hook or something that alters your ship registration to bases. So instead for example when you undock you get the transmission "Gaians Theta 4 - 3, Your clear for Lauch" Yadda yadda yadda

First I was going to say this wasn't possible...
Then I thought twice.
In theory, if you were to remove all the default sounds for that...
Then you could get FLHook to send the sound to your PC... Only example I have of this is Hamburg City, go and have a look at the way you type /bb, /theone, /feelgood, etc. it makes sounds.
But I suppose you wouldn't get the video on it, and most people speed dock, so this isn't much use.
AFAIK Josh is still making his play MP3 plugin for system chat.
EDIT: Also, what does FLHook have to do with the MODDING discussion? This should be in server AND modding... Presenting a problemo.

I like the idea, only as Alex pointed out I speed dock cause I can't be bothered waiting for ages for my ship to dock. OR I have my sound turned cause of the awful music.
