Well I worked hard to get 22m ...to get the mining ship... (I'm new to the Game so It was hard to earn 22m...) And I finally get the 22m go get the ship after alot of trouble..and then you guys nerf the metal scraps drops...whats that?? No warning or anything...I think i deserve atleast a reimbursement or something...I mean comon..thats like 22m thrown away..and I'm new so that's alot to me.

Mining ship does not add yield to Scrap. GO CHECK.

Smuggle Cardimine in that ship into NY and RP the ship as a coverup for smuggling.

ID and IFF must match in order for certain Faction bonuses to be met, Mining lasers add on their own, and ships add individually as well.

It's all in the 4.85 Mining transition sticky.

May I kindly point out that you are all incorrect. I spoke to Dusty in game just after everyone in NY started to notice that the scrap was not yielding anything like it was before. Apparently they have put a bonus in Rhineland up to 150% and I'm guessing that in NY they have dropped it. So kingpin, go find the new bonus spot in Rhineland.

@Bass_Masta: I had a fully repped mining ship with IMG and what not in the field at the time, that was not the problem as I was only getting one and two's in scrap as well.

Apparently they have put a bonus in Rhineland up to 150% and I'm guessing that in NY they have dropped it. So kingpin, go find the new bonus spot in Rhineland.

@Bass_Masta: I had a fully repped mining ship with IMG and what not in the field at the time, that was not the problem as I was only getting one and two's in scrap as well.

A few corrections:
- The mining ship doesn't do anything when mining scrap, it's for processing rock ores.
- The IMG suck at mining scrap, they specialise in niobium and some other ores.
- To most effectively mine scrap, you need a junker ID and IFF and appropriate junker ship and a mining laser.
- I suggest that you check TEXAS before checking Rhineland.

I'm talking about before the limitations were set in. He was wasting his time picking up a Mining ship and going into the scrap field in the first place, because it doesn't help. A CSV does a 20% scrap yield bonus (Only) which should be the common ship of choice, that or the ALG mover.
