Basic Military Encryption

This is Captain Hadrian Rail, better known as Virus. I have recently joined the ranks of the Rheinland Military, automatically promoted to captain through previous experience. I am proud to have become part of this great nation.

Unfortunatly I have not yet been assigned a ship to comand. I am expecting to be assigned in due time. I'm hoping once I have a ship and crew that I can name it, but that's never assured. I will undoubtedly be stationed somewhere in Dresden, as there is very little military presence there.

The point of this message is to inform those of command know of my presence. I will help if called on. As of now though, I have no ship to speak of. This will soon change, even if I have to buy it myself. I hope to be of assistance.

I am currently passing Planet Hamburg on my way to New Berlin, where I will attend the political meeting tomorrow and hopefully will be in a fair ship by then. I am planning on being there only a few minutes beforehand. Unless this ship comes under attack, in which case, I may die. But that's highly unlikely.

My PC is up and running, and the game is now 86% downloaded (seeing as my friend lost my CD :mellow: )

i am happy to announce that i shall be back on the server in 2 to 3 hours from now if all goes well (and the game doesn't turn out to be Japanese or some other language that i don't understand lol)

so apologies to the whole of Rhienland for neglegting my duties lately, but i shall be catching up on the latest news on New Berlin within the above time limit.

if its in the registry, i think i already know. but if theres an easier way...... :laugh:

It will be an easier way. i will write a program: a "Freelancer ID manager". So restoring and Backuping ID's will be easier.. I will write it as soon as I figure out how to make it work on Win98 and XP simultaneously. (For some reason, the API's for Registry access works fine on win98/me/2000/2003, but hangs out a PC running XP :( )
