I tried to use mines on NPC's in missions but I dont know when to use them.Can anyone tell me how to use mines?

When jousting a target, drop a mine a second or two before you and the target cross, then engine kill, turn around, and use a cruise disruptor on the target when the mine is right next to it.

Okay Thanks But usually I get hit by mines even if no one CDs it . Any Idea how to save myself from them?

Avoid the mines?, they dont go off unless you directly hit them

Dont use mines, they are more dangerous to you than to your opponent (especially if they happen to have a TCD), not to mention incredibly expensive.

I have never used a single mine on any of my ships, and i can easily beat people who spam them like crazy.

Seriously, they are more trouble than they are worth.

Well, when I learned how to use them, I find them very good. And I had to learn it, because on arrow, it's the only way how to kill someone... But they are mostly useless against NPCs

They make a nice panic button when you're sure your going to be vaped.

Also, don't spam mines. Trust me, you hit more of your own than others.

mines can be really good if you know when to not use them. i still dont know exactly when not to use them, but i can figure it out normaly.
