Player Groups

Hi,

I was wondering about how the creation of unofficial player groups is done? Is it one of those things that you pick a tag no one else uses and slap your group's info onto the Wiki? Or is there some "pay the admin to look it over and you may or may not be approved and you may or may not get your money back" thing like there is with the official faction creation system?

Please also note that when you are unofficial - you're probably going to get a lot of people wondering who the heck you are, since people slap some of the darndest tags on their ships.

And you don't get the right to recruit on the forums, or do much else here unless you're official. Keep that in mind as well. One other thing to keep in mind, too, is which npc faction (if any) that you choose to represent or play - if there is an official faction already in existance that represents them, they do have some rights over you regarding your gameplay. (Read Official Faction Right #2).

And lastly - pick some group that isn't already done to death. We have enough Corsair groups running around now.

Nah, just don't go undoing their work or perform other acts of extreme stupidity.

Not so much "Don't rock the boat" as "Make sure what you do is logical and fits into the atmosphere rather than just shoots off into its own quantum dimension"

Case in point: Junkers that are Bretonian and do things like low-key smuggling and scrap work and work around Trafalgar? The Congress likes them. Junkers that go around shooting the Liberty Navy while flying Barghests with Colada Del Cids, and telling Congress that Junkers are the bad guys and that they are actually the ones doing it right? Not so much.
